is the horse really backwards

The official SMU design always has the horse 'racing' (ie, facing) to the right. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B005SZCBZ4/?seller=ASIRD3RM6OQ4 Thanks, American Floor Mats

will they fit 2003 mustang

These are universal fit front-seat rubber car mats and should fit virtually any vehicle, including a 2003 Ford Mustang (Coupe or Convertible). Thanks,American Floor Mats

can you order them black with white pony?

Unfortunately, the NCAA and the school only license specific, approved designs/colors and thus those are the only logos allowed to be produced. At this time, the Red on Black is the only combination approved by the league and the school. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B005SZCBZ4/?seller=ASIRD3RM6OQ4 Thanks, American Floor Mats
