PURR NZ Green Lipped Mussels Freeze Dried

Wonderful quality of freeze dried Green Lipped Mussels, easy to crumble with a bit of pressure and highly palatable even for my very picky BSH kitten. It does have a strong oceanic scent but I wasn't too bothered by it. Pieces of whole mussel were mostly uniform in size and I'd say it's a wonderful value for the price if you want to include a premium treat for your pet that has wholesome and high nutritional benefits for their health without relying on powdered supplements. My kitten's coat definitely became shinier and healthier after including this in his daily meals, not to mention making his meals a little more exciting with that extra crunch!

Our kitten loves this snack and since it’s an amazing source of glucosamine/chondroitin this is not just a treat it’s is food as medicine. Very happy with this purchase

My cat absolutely loves the New Zealand Natural Pet Food Co. Meow freeze-dried green mussel treats. They’ve quickly become one of her favorite treats, and I like giving them to her as a special reward. The only downside for me is the packaging. The bag is very easy for pets to get into, and if my cat sees it, she will try to tear it open. I wish pet food companies would use sturdier bags or include a more secure container, because I don’t always have extra containers on hand. That’s the only reason the bag ended up with holes. One thing I’d recommend is portion control, especially for cats with sensitive stomachs. When I gave these treats too often in one week, it upset her stomach, so now I limit them and haven’t had any issues. Overall, these are high-quality treats, my cat loves them, and I’ll definitely be purchasing again — just with more careful storage and moderation.

The smell was a little interesting for my kitty but he couldn’t pick it up nor did hand feeding work. He lost interest in about 5 seconds and walked away. I do think some cats would love this. I’ve tried 3 times and will try again.

Unfortunately there were only two full pieced mussels in bag. All crumbs but my dog liked them.

bought these on a whim and they have changed my cats lives for the better. heathy and they think it’s delicious. i would say its a great value for the money because it lasts multiple weeks and i use them as a food topper and treat! very easy to break for cats who needs smaller bites
