Better then the slotted version
The slotted won't last but a few months. This doesn't have this problem, specially with sweat and general yuk getting stuck in the slots making the slotted style sticky and fall apart. This seems to avoid this problem.

Great replacement
I bought this as a replacement for my ruined nose bridge for my prescription safety glasses, and is absolutely already better than the one I replaced since it's a solid nose bridge. The nose bridge my safety glasses came with was a rubber finned type, and because of the oils it's exposed to, it degrade the rubber fins and rubs off the bridge making the glasses uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. The solid rubber nose bridge is great due to it a single rubber nose bridge that won't degrade as much as the finned type.

I think they might be better than original
There are multiple sizes of this nose piece available, listed separately. I read the comments on various listings of replacement nose pieces for my safety glasses. Many of them commented on size differences, and trimming to fit. I ordered based on the dimensions printed on my frames, and as you can see from my picture the old and new lined up nicely.I got the glasses in the spring, and I don't wear them every day, but the original nose bridge was "melting." The material on the nose bridge was forming bubbles, shifting, and peeling. I was disappointed in how poorly it held up.I found this replacement, the material seems to be different than the original. I'm hoping they hold up better.I did buy stick on pads, the fit wasn't quite right for me and I'd been considering buying pads as a wear replacement to help the bridge last longer. One other thing, it looks like the bridge snaps off easily from the frame, but somehow I ended up cracking the clips on the frame that hold the bridge on, so be aware.Update: I received these in mid July and now tha mid November is closing in I'm starting to notice that these are starting to react the same as the originals. The plastic is softer and I'm starting to see damage from regular use.

Don't last very long
I want to be careful this does not reflect on the seller, but the item itself does not last long...for me. The oils from my nose must be corrosive lol, because within about 6 months, my original OEM nose piece broke down and turned to mush. My second piece ordered and came on time and worked well for about the same amount of time, and i religiously tried to clean and maintain it. My third also about the same. I suppose these must be soft to feel comfortable, but they should last longer. As i mentioned, even the original was exactly the same. These simply must be replaced all the time for guys like me while my coworkers with $3 safety glasses can keep the same pair for years. I wish i did not have to continually invest in these glasses at more than $24/ year. Lastly, I am not the only person to have this issue of breaking down the silicon faster than one would think. ha ha
