I bought these for a 03 lesabre and they worked great the Buick doors don’t work with either hook so you had to hammer them out and I also put Rivnuts into my car for a more permanent mount. Two years later or daily use there still in very good shape beside a little sun fade. And if you mount them good I’ve had 600lbs on them and they bend only a fraction!! Good value for the money

It’s a great product that could really use assembly instructions. What should have taken 10 minutes or so took over an hour; the first 50 minutes being spent trying to figure out how to assemble it, and then 10 minutes to do it.

Update! Didn’t hold up. Paint is peeling. I know it’s cheap but I expected to get longer out of it. I have a Yakima wind shield on the front that I doubt would hold up in a car wash. This mounting I take off and put on within 60 seconds. I go to the car wash and I unlocked the driver side just a little. That allows me to remove and place in my trunk. I go through the car wash and then I’m able to connect the passenger side and tighten on the driver side within seconds. I eye ball where the feet line up in my sunroof and it’s done. Its low profile is nice. Very sturdy. For the price I’d buy it again

I was expecting a cheap use one time rack but to my surprise it was better than expected, been using it now for three weeks and it is still solid and tight on my roof. The only problem I had was the lock, The key felt like it would snap if you turn it with too much pressure and it is difficult to turn the key without too much pressure. I just slowly turned it little at a time while gently shacking the rack. it is real solid now and I would buy it again if I need another one.
