They are not any different from the ones that came with the product.

Bought this to use with a personal humidifier, the small sofa humidifier. Since the one I need is shorter, I simply cut it to size using scissors, soaked in water, and inserted it. The diameter is a bit snug even though the dimensions are supposedly the same but it wasn't a problem in inserting. Construction is solid; holds up well.

Ordered refill filter for my Desk Humidifier and the package said 4 should be in the package. There was only 3 filters in the package.

Works well in small baby nursery. Helped decrease dryness in winter months. Less waste, less plastic, takes up less space than other large humidifier equipment. Travels well. Diameter of filter is 3/8 of an inch.

I have the portable version(UHE CMP15) that explicitly linked to these as the appropriate replacements. They are too long by 5/8 an inch and have to be trimmed, but are also very rigid compared to the original wicks and difficult to cut at all. The portable model is extremely fickle about when it works, so I have just tossed the whole mess now and bought a 'multifun' brand one. But if you have the portable version of the homedics brand, do not believe them when they suggest these as replacements, they were a waste of money.
