my daughter wore it for her 7th birthday and at the time she was between sizes 6-7 in regular clothes. I got het size 7-8 and it fit perfectly , I’m pretty sure size 6-7 would’ve been small because the 7-8 fit snug around her chest. She is an average size . I suggest you go with a larger size .
