I keep it in my purse and use it all the time. I even take it outside for playtime when my toddler is getting stir crazy during bad uv times and I use it for both of us. It’s not a gigantic umbrella but it still works for me to cover us for the most part. It’s small enough to use in decent crowds being mindful not to hit people’s heads as you pass but totally doable. I get complimented pretty frequently and they always ask where I got it. It’s a shame I see it’s not available right now. It says it’s uv fabric, I don’t know how to test for that but I don’t seem to get burned when I use it. I know you can still get burned from reflected uv in shade but as far as getting burned like I’m not using anything, I haven’t experienced that with this. Great sunbrella!

Second one I’ve purchased because I lost the last one during a move. It’s LOVELY. Specifically I got the Asian woman print. Has a matching cover and elastic wrist loop. It does a good job with rain but what I got it for was UV blocking and it does that FABULOUSLY!!! Has made outdoor walks in SE Texas somewhat tolerable.

This is my fourth purchase which is finally a keeper. The other umbrellas and parasols I purchased had to be returned for one thing or another. This one looks just like it is advertised. It opens and closes easily. Although it's not automatic, the mechanism is slick and works fine manually. It collapses easily from its extended telescopic open position to a convenient purse fitting size. Also the case is made well and the umbrella slips easily into the case without much struggle at all. I am especially pleased with the pretty design and the added insulation on the inside. I do not observe any punctures in the umbrella workmanship. I bought this as a parasol but it looks as though it will function perfectly in the rain. It looks adorable. I will test it in the rain and if something doesn't work out I certainly will update this review. For me it is a five star item!
