Zaโatar Adds a Unique Twist to a Thyme/Oregano Base! Delicious!
This is the first time Iโve tried Zaโatar seasoning. I put it in a recipe for shrimp and vegetables. It complimented both, with a thyme and oregano base. Very nice. Itโs not overpowering; which was great. Next, Iโll use it on chicken. The quality and freshness were appreciated. Iโd buy it again. The quantity is a lot for the price.

Great Spice
I am just getting into Middle Eastern cooking, and with Easter coming up, this spice is is essential. It is different than what I am used to, but is still great. Gives a nice, warm flavor to home-made bread, as well as to soups and stews. Try it - you won't have your spice cabinet without it!

Not the freshest
It was good but did not seem verry fresh. Some of the herbs were like splinters, one actully poked and stuck in my gums. I would try another brand next time. 3 STARS

Tastes like paint thinner and old old old old herbs. It literally tastes like you are seasoning you food with paint + paint thinner. Absolutely horrible and complete and total failure . NO HEATING IT IN OLIVE OIL DOESNT RELEASE THE OIL IF THE HERBS ALL IT DOES IS MAKE IT TASTE MORE AND MORE LIKE PAINT THINNER
