I've had this mat for over a month. The first week I left it out 24/7 to off gas because some fumes are to be expected and this mat definitely had a potent smell. I've now had the large 5'x7' mat for over a month, I use it 3 or 4 times a week, and will leave it open overnight every few days because the mat, while not as bad as it used to be, still stinks of chemicals. It is particularly bad while my face is near it, for example planks or many yoga positions. I try to hold my breath for a lot of it because it is still unpleasant. Now the good parts are that it is JUST the right thickness and grip. I can wear socks and it still has enough grip. So far it is holding up but again, I use socks.

I bought this product back in 2019 as well as a smaller, purple version. I've used this one in the main playroom/living room and the smaller in my daughter's room. I got them when she was starting to toddle around because I didn't want the kids play mats in the middle of my living room at the time, but wanted her to have some cushion between her and the floor, as she was falling often. This was a great alternative! It provided a place for her to play/walk, was easier to clean than a rug, and less of an eyesore than a puzzle piece mat. My oldest is 4.5 and my youngest just turned 1 and I'm still using both mats! I've also used the mats for workouts since I was utilizing the same space! There's only one spot that's damaged (very minimal, see in picture) and thats because I vacuum over it with my shark!! If you're looking for something to last and easy to manage, this is it!

Ok, my new mission is to tell the world about this amazing product! I had been eyeing it and thinking that was a lot of money for a mat. But it is so much more than that. The first time I did Pilates I had all my gear spread out, I had room to move, and I was able to engage in my mat workout in ways I never had before, simply because I had space. It’s super thick and I use it on my hard wood floors. I have old tired knees and didn’t need a towel for them. It’s given me my large living room floor as a space where I can comfortably roll like a ball and do all the fun stuff that goes with Pilates. I got the 7x5

This is the mat I use in my gym room for the vast majority of strength workouts. I love its size, color, and how it doesn't slip on the ground. However, it is not my go-to mat for yoga as the top of this mat has a more slippery texture than I prefer for yoga. I specifically chose the version that wasn't designed for yoga, so I am not taking off any stars for this, but I wanted to point it out to help other folks' expectations. The slippery texture can also make things like forearm planks difficult when I am sweaty, so I always have my other yoga mat ready to go next to this one during strength workouts.

Great product, using it 3-4 times a week and look just line new.
