I wasnt sure how mych i would use it, but turns out it was perfect for my needs. I prefer reading a book in bed over scrolling, and this light helps me get it done. Plenty of light, infinitely adjustable, and battery life is crazy good. You or the bookworm in your life will love it.

First impression is that it is very tiny and lightweight, easy to use, and the perfect brightness. Bonus that it has a few different options for the brightness. The battery life was more than enough for an evening of reading in bed. The flexible “arm” allows for easy adjustment. The clip itself is a bit bulky and doesn’t fit around your entire book because it’s not very big, but holds fine once you get it clipped on there just right. The biggest downfall is the extremely short charging cord. It hardly reaches from my nightstand to the outlet and is easier to just leave on the floor while it charges. Not a great situation when you have kids, pets, roomba vacuums, etc. Overall, I’d say this is a great product that I would recommend to my book groups, friends, and family. I think it’s a bit costly for the product as other comparable options run between $7-$10, but it’s also made by a known brand which helps justify the cost.

It is slightly bulky but how light weight it is makes up for that. The different settings are amazing as well. You can change them to help ur eyes adjust as you read. Over all a wonderful book light. And being rechargeable makes it even better!!!

I have seen a lot of reviews saying that this light is super bright to the point that I was expecting this thing to be like a floodlight and have many thousands of lumens behind it. The truth is that this light is perfectly equipped for reading. It isn't especially bright though it probably would be better designed if it has a dimmer so people could adjust it to their liking and conserve more battery power. You can cycle through the light colors which is nice but the brightness is the same for all pretty much. Not a problem for me, as the light is right in the middle for brightness in my opinion. Not too bright, not too dim. For $8 (what I paid) I can't say too much bad about this light because it is just a good little light! Very light and flexible, clips onto most anything and has a decent battery life. Could have a bigger battery in my opinion but for what it is and where it is priced I think this light is perfectly fine for most situations.

Good for reading at night, adequate brightness

HTC provided me a gift card to purchase the Energized Clip-On Book Light from Amazon. I read in bed all the time and I think it's the perfect booklight - it has three light colors (warm, cool & blue) and since it charges on USB, it doesn't require never-ending quantities of batteries. I was concerned the light would be heavy (my rechargeable flashlight is) but I found it to weigh about as much as a battery-powered one; it didn't bend my usual soft-cover books I read at all and the coverage is excellent. The light resets to very bright every time (almost like 100% brightness on your phone) and it took a little time to figure out how to dim it since the instructions aren’t clear (if you’d like to know, you have to hold the power button rather than turning it).

Love love love. 3 color options. Brightness fade up out down. Way to use. Rechargeable. Battery life lasts forever. Neck is highly adjustable. Lightweight. Versatile uses. Wish clip was slightly bigger for non book clipping but it isn't terrible. Broad enough to be it's own stand base.

[Just received Energizer LED book light for free from the Home Tester Club] This Energizer book light has a lot of great features! First of all, it has a rechargeable battery that you can use with a USB cord, nice to not have to keep buying disposable batteries. It's very flexible and movable, works great with my Kindle. It also has six different lights, bright white, blue and yellow toned, and then it has those three colors in a dimmer setting, so it's a little bit less bright at night if you don't want to disturb your partner. Very innovative book light!
