A Great First Impression
★★★★★ I’ve only used this scrub twice, so it’s too early to speak on whether it prevents ingrown hairs, but I wanted to leave an honest review of my experience so far. I really enjoyed the scent, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth after using it. The exfoliating particles are gentle and didn’t feel harsh or irritating on my skin. I’m looking forward to continuing to use it and seeing the long-term results, but so far, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

SOFT SKIN!! SMELLS VERY NICE!!
This stuff is so nice and smells so good!! It makes every area of your skin so soft and you can use it on your whole body! I use this after every shave day and it keeps my skin feeling and smelling so good! This sugar scrub still feels like sugar even when it’s wet!! And does not feel like rubber like some sugar scrubs! It’s so good I always run out. Definitely will be buying often!! It also makes the bootyhole very soft lol!!

Good
I like this stuff I see why like dermatologist recommend it because it is very gentle. It’s not thick. It’s very crumbly. It’s just like salt and oil. That’s the texture of it. If you just mix salt and oil there’s lots of oil in it. I can’t tell you if I noticed the difference because I think the dark spots that I have aren’t probably what it’s usually used for I don’t know, but I do think it’s ok exfoliate and I used it on my area. I had no irritation or anything like that does leave you soft, but I think partly because of the oil like it leaves a oil residue.

Best ever
Upon first use, I loved this scrub. With a lot of exfoliating body scrubs, they can be drying and/or irritating. This one is so intensively moisturizing at the same time. I use this primarily on my chest, shoulders, back, and legs, and everywhere is smoother, softer, and so moisturized. I also didn’t expect this scrub to get rid of and reduce my acne on my chest and shoulders. A super nice surprise, my acne has gone down a lot. I got the tea tree oil scent and it is very light weight and non-irritating. I usually never leave Amazon reviews, but this product is that good. It’s also great for ingrown hair bumps and redness around bikini area.

I Don’t Understand the Hype
This body scrub was recommended to me by a friend because I’m getting laser hair removal and wanted to be proactive about preventing ingrown hairs. I don’t typically struggle with them, so I can’t really judge how effective this is at treating existing ingrowns, but I can definitely speak to the actual experience of using it. The texture is my biggest issue. In the container, the product is extremely hard, dry, and crumbly. It almost looks old or dried out when you first open it, even though I’ve been careful to close the lid tightly after every use and only reach into it with completely dry hands. Instead of having that slightly moist, cohesive texture I normally associate with a body scrub, this feels more like scooping out a handful of coarse, compacted sand. Once water is added, it becomes easier to work with and the consistency improves, but I still feel like the formula needs more moisture or something to help bind everything together. It doesn’t spread particularly well on its own, so I end up using a lot more product than expected just to cover an area. I’ve only used it around three times and already have less than half of the container remaining, which is pretty shocking considering the price. The scent is another major downside for me. I find it extremely unpleasant, and combined with the unusual texture, I don’t particularly enjoy using it. I also don’t get that smooth, thoroughly exfoliated feeling afterward that I normally expect from a body scrub. Since I rarely experience ingrown hairs to begin with, I can’t confidently determine whether it’s effective at preventing them. Maybe someone who regularly struggles with ingrowns would have a completely different opinion, but as a preventative product, I haven’t noticed anything that makes the cost or amount of product required feel worthwhile. Pros: * Becomes easier to work with once water is added * Specifically intended for ingrown-hair care * May be more useful for someone who regularly experiences ingrowns Cons: * Extremely hard and dry in the container * Crumbly, almost sand-like consistency * Doesn’t feel like a traditional body scrub * Seems like the formula needs more moisture * Unpleasant scent * Requires a lot of product per use * Less than half remaining after only a few uses * Expensive for how quickly I’m going through it * Doesn’t leave me feeling particularly smooth or exfoliated * Difficult for me to judge its effectiveness Overall: I know this product gets a lot of praise, which makes my experience even more confusing. The dry, rock-hard consistency almost makes it look like something is wrong with it when I open the container. Water does make it usable, but I don’t think a body scrub at this price should require this much effort or product with every application. Between the texture, scent, and how quickly I’m going through the container, I regret spending the money and personally wouldn’t purchase it again.

Worth the price for soft smooth skin!
Works amazingly well to exfoliate and prevent and treat ingrown hairs from shaving/waxing. Also helps with my keratosis pilaris and even body acne! I didn't expect that and am glad I decided to try it on more than just my bikini line. Excellent at removing deodorant. This is my step one in the shower. I scrub from the neck down. Then I do a quick second cleanse with a gentle unscented cleanser. It's very moisturizing and I prefer to double cleanse so I feel like I have rinsed clean. Some people may appreciate the extra moisture but for me it feels a little greasy. Smells deliciously fresh. Does not break me out or irritate my sensitive acne prone skin at all! Worth a try! I use it on my body everyday and the bikini area every other day (don't want to over exfoliate the thinner skin).

Love this scrub (and all other bush balm products!)
Love this shaving scrub (and all my other bush balm products!). It's the perfect scrub level: not too rough to irritate, but not gentle to the point it doesn't feel like it's doing anything. It smells great, and when used with the shaving jelly and the oil after, my shaves have never been so smooth + minimal to no ingrown hairs!

Bush balm exfoliating scrub!!
Absolutely love this stuff. Smells amazing, is so moisturizing. Paired with the bush balm ingrown hair oil... its the best. And on its own its still great. Ive noticed a huge difference since I started using it a couple months ago. Less ingrowns, and razor bumps, smoother skin, great smell, less irration after shaving. Worth it!!! Definitely recommend giving it a try.

Works alright, has some flaws
Not sure if I had higher expectations than I should have with how effective this should be. Its a nice product but certainly not magic. I've been using just over a month now. PROS: Using in conjunction with the serum it has reduced my bikini bumps and some redness, feels nice after its rinsed off (like a waxy barrier is on the skin, smells nice CONS: Disintegrates within about 7 seconds when rubbed on wet skin (showerhead turned away to ensure does not rinse off, this is just when it is in contact with any wet skin - I thought it would stay grainy like my St. Ives apricot facial scrub does and I would have the choice to rinse this product away - not so, you have to rub it in like you're in a race before it melts away). Also after opening the product a few times in the shower (again, no water actually touching it other than the small amount on your damp fingers scooping some out) has caused the salt granules to clump together. Overall I think using both products has helped, I just don't know if one or the other is doing most of the work, or if another product could do the same thing better (or cheaper). But not a bad product

AMAZING EXFOLIATOR!!!!!
Wow! That was my first word when I used this. Not only does it smell good but it’s gentle near your sensitive areas. The scrub seems to also dissolve as you exfoliate, which I did not expect. It does have an oil in it so it leaves your skin so soft. I am super impressed with this product and I will definitely be an ongoing customer. I also have extremely sensitive skin and this did not other me at all. I highly recommend this bush balm exfoliant if you’re looking for a smoother area with no ingrown hairs. So far it’s a great product. The only thing I would say is if you’re ordering in the winter in a cold climate watch for the delivery. Mine ended up freezing outside and when I opened the box it came in, it was oily. Which means the cold expanded the container and it leaked a bit.
