Thanks to Jason's (JM) brilliant review on October 8 2011, I bought a 4 pack of these TR-416-S valve stems to make it easier to pressurize one of my sprayers, and since I had three to spare, I then went to town and installed a valve stem in ALL 4 of my sprayers. Use a 15/32 drill bit for best results (see pictures for the best location), and there will be no need for silicone or other sealants, although it can't hurt! After pressurizing to 35 psi (use a gauge!), I was AMAZED at how far I could spray and how FAST I finished the job! WHAT A DIFFERENCE INSTALLING THESE SCHRAEDER VALVES made- thank you, JM! Very easy to install, and they are an excellent value. I also purchased an Amazon air chuck and an inexpensive "Hotdog" air compressor from Harbor Freight for a complete package.

Bought a four pack got a three pack but luckily for me I bought them for a supermoto dirt bike so I only need two but great quality and for the price I can't complain that much it looks like I am the only one who has gotten only three but it seems good and 'm ok with it still better than a rubber one

Comes with 5/8" and 1/2" gaskets for which ever hole you have in the rim. I used them on my trailer rims and they are 1/2". Used a 9/16" deep socket to snug them down the retention nut. No leaks.

Work well

Single car hauler trailer so I can move back home out west after losing a 102 yo Parent in June. Purchased new rims at a great price, received new steel rims today & tires on Sunday. Received 20 new lug nuts & (4) steel tire valves on Monday. All is already installed on the trailer. Got 4 new wheels to be safe for my travels & not to break down. Trailer sat a long time & tires were over 10 years old. Two rims were very rusty. Purchase the tires through Walmart (online) stopped by Discount Tires & they wanted $30 per tire to install here in MI. Went to Walmart & they did the complete Tire to wheel mount for free. I was thrilled. They were not able to high speed balance the wheels, but that is ok. They look great & safe. Now, I'll touch up the trailer where it needs it to protect it from rusting. Purchased it new in 1995 & looks solid for the road.

I was apprehensive about installing this on a curved part of the pump sprayer. Fortunately, it turned out great. Now instead of hand pumping, an air compressor (30psi or less) pressurizes the tank. A few tips for installing on a poly tank: 1. When planning the valve location, be sure the position of the valve will not obstruct the tank's lid removal. 2. Be sure you have pliers that will be able to secure the valve from the inside of the tank while tightening the lock nut. Channel locks in my case worked. 3. Use a drill bit slightly smaller than the valve stem and attempt to "cut" the threads into the poly (you can always make the hole larger if necessary). 4. Although not necessary, use silicone on both sides of the valve before installing if you have some on hand. 5. Don't attempt to install this in place of the safety relief valve. The relief valve plays an important safety role of tripping in the event of an over-pressurized event. On my pump sprayer, it is designed to trip between 36-40psi. 6. On most spray tank's, 30psi or less is likely a safe pressure and should be tested before use. Your safety relief valve should activate if your pressure is too great. Regardless, it's better not to approach that limit to remain on the safe side.

I live in Darwin, and was told by tyre shop that some of these rubbers can’t handle the tropics. So I chose not to install them and went with conventional proven valve stems. Had bought these for installing blue tooth remote tyre pressure guages
