Does this device pass in-SDI embedded closed captioning?

I just looked, and there's no mention of captioning in the manual. This hasn't been an issue in my application as we use open captions since displays receiving the stream may not be accessible for users to control captioning. Hope that helps.

Does this encoder support 708 embedded closed captions?

There's no mention of closed caption support in the manual which came with the encoder.

Can anyone tell about the delay in live streaming? How much is the delay?

In my experience with the device, the delay is minimal. <1 second. We have a 1gbps connection from the device to the network switch back to the streaming endpoints.
