Excellent fuel system cleaner
I use Seaform in our diesel tanks once a year and in my petrol motorcycles it does an excellent job. One of my cars which has 146000+ miles had warning lights up and an oil pressure issue with lack of power after several oil changes and the warning Still there I researched this product and added half a bottle to the almost empty fuel tank. After a few hundred miles the increase in power and the smoothness of the engine was very apparent.I then used it on a classic motorcycle which had a rusting tank cleaned and sticky idle and a drop in revs after 2000 rpm. The carbs had been cleaned so not wishing to pull them off again I added Seaform to the fuel and again after a hour the engine ran like silk and the crap in the carbs was either flushed out or dissolved. Now she ticks over and revs freely. Excellent product. Smoky exhaust did make me panic but that is normal as the Seafoam does its thing

Ability to add to motorcycle crankcase
I bought this product for my motorcycle of which has a wet clutch and it has perfect results with regard cleaning the engine internally as well as the ability to add to the Aspen fuel of which I use because it has no ethanol for the residues to be removed from the carburettors , Excellent Product

Converted!!
After hearing mixed reviews about this stuf I was sceptical about its claimed abilities. Nevertheless I decided to pony up and buy some of the magic elixir.I have a Yamaha Thundercat which would struggle to start and would pop and fart whenever I tried. I drained the tank as I thought maybe the fuel had gone bad but it was fine. So I added a small amount of the same fuel back to the tank and added a good glug (probably more than I should) of sea foam. I shook the bike a few times to get the stuff to mix thoroughly and cranked the bike over. I got the same coughs, splutter pops and farts as I usually do but that was obviously the fuel that was left in the carbs. As soon as she fired up properly she ran better, less lumpy but not perfect. I let her warm up and she ran better again. There’s still something not quite right but I swear it’s done SOME good. Each time I start the bike now she just fires without issue. No more pops and farts. My GSXR on the other hand worked well before adding Sea Foam and as the bike had been stood for a while I decided to drain the tank. I added some sea foam to a small amount of fuel and poured it into the tank. This time the bike refused to fire up. It just spun up and gave two massive bangs from the exhaust. I’m sure some neighbours might have though someone was firing a shotgun. Anyway I left it as it seemed like it might be flooded, I tried again the next day and the GSXR fired up and ran smoother (I’ll put the failure to start down to operator error). In my personal opinion this stuff really does help. It’s not going to fix all problems as it’s not made of pixie dust and unicorn sh17, but the bikes are running better. At £17 a can it’s cheap enough to try and could save you needing to take your car or bike or mower into the shop. All levity aside, I’m converted and will definitely use this stuff in the future.+5 stars for function-1 star for price

A product that works
A product that works. I bought this to use on my mums car that had an intermittent issue with poor running at tick over and accelerating. We spent a fortune with different garages, including the manufacture garage and none could identify the issue. This product has made a major difference with the issue significantly improving and now almost gone. A have used a few cans, although it improved after the first can, and one more should do it. I have since used it on my own car and friend’s cars.

Does what it claims to do.
My Honda VFR750 has been laid up for over two years, after taking for MOT test (passed) it cut out when idling on way home. I noticed it had a slight misfire when fully warmed up, causing it to stall when slowing down to a stop. I mixed seafoam at a 1:1 ratio (bit stronger than stated on bottle) with petrol and rigged up a Sealey temporary fuel bottle containg the mix. I ran bike until it used all the fuel in carbs, then added the Seafoam mix and re started the bike. I let it idle to pass some of the mixture through carbs. I then left for 24 hours and idled the bike again for 5 mins or so. I left a further 72 hours. I guessed one or more idles jets were partially clogged by the fuel evaporation whilst layed up. After passing all the mix through by idling each day for few mins I moved back to neat petrol and it's now ticking over like a sewing machine. Can't recommend product highly enough. I didn't fancy removing and stripping four near 30 year old carbs!

Good stuff
I have been having some EGR problems recently. Replaced the EGR valve but the engine light still kept coming on. Tried to clean as much as we could without taking the engine apart but the engine light still kept coming on. Thought I'd give this a try. Used a whole bottle for a half tank of diesel. And within the afternoon the engine light had gone off! Fingers crossed it will continue this way!

Great, unless you have a DPF
First off, don’t use if your car has a DPF. I made that mistake.I used this product on three different engines, first off a 1.4 HDI which does not have a DPF, second was my Lawmower and finally third a 1.6 HDI which does have a DPF.Now all engines run very smoothly, it does what it says as expected however the DPF in my 1.6 HDI regenerated three times in 300km’s of running with this product so it did accelerate the process for that and unfortunately this can be quite a nuisance. All good otherwise I do recommend it for non DPF Diesels

Als Ing. spät was dazu gelernt ;-)

great engine treatment
discovered this stuff years ago for treating outboard motors...was hard to get hold of but now is easy through Amazongreat for giving any engine a bit of a clean out without pulling it apart
