Rotary or slide/fader/balance/volume static/scratching/noise - No more with this product.
Used on an old school vintage clock radio. The volume control made a horrid sound when used. Making the radio useless. We all know the situation. We go to turn on our favorite radio and one day SCRATCH, CRRRRRRUUUUNNNCHHHHH, STTTTTAAAAAATTTTTIC.. And, your heart sank. Knowing your old trusted friend has seen better days. Or has he? All you need do is have or gain access to the rotary mechanism inside your electronic friend, and no need to even take it apart or remove it. Just need to get behind the cover. Find the knob or slider and see where it comes together. The board material, and the metal or plastic housing for the rotary or slider? Unplug the electronic device. This stuff is very flammable. That is all you need access to. Dust off any dust in the area if any first. Have some paper towel or rags handy to help clean up. It won't be much. When using the straw make sure it is at a right angle or sticking out straight. I used a pair of pliers to make the end of the straw oval and thinner to fit into the crossfader fader slots. You do not need to spray a lot. A solid press then stop. You only need a few drops to get into the mechanics. Then rotate or slide the item being cleaning back and forth for a minute. Then if the rotary or slider started all the way to one side. Move it to the other now. Spray again. Just as before a few drops. This is water thin material in the can. And, a small amount goes and goes a long ways. Repeat the moving of the dial or slider. Doing this for a minute or two. Imagine your car is dirty, you take it to a car wash. You are in effect doing the same now for your electronic devices. And, the lube is built into this, so it is like the wax on the finish to keep it clean longer. This can be used on any rotary or slider styled electronic control. It is best to take apart the actual electronic item to get you closer to the mechanics behind the scene that are in need of help. Always unplug your device, remove batteries and such as this is a very flammable liquid. Do not use WD40. Because you are only cleaning the mechanics a little. Then leaving them raw and exposed. If your electronics get water in them then use WD40 because it is a water displacement spray. Not a lube or oil. Value for the money: My one repair tonight paid for this can and more. My new Mini Innofader Plus came 100% ready to use as is. After using this on it the movement improved 100% more. If you own anything electronic with rotary or slider controls, then do yourself a huge favor and get a can of this. Become your neighborhood electronic hero with this. Or, just to save yourself a fortune in repairs or worse replacements. How I discovered this product - The InnoFader I bought years ago had a tiny cute tube of DeOxIt redish color in it, I honestly didn't even notice it until my first InnoFader was having issues. I cleaned the years of dust and such out of it. Still goofing up. Went online and read about DeOxIt and wished I had some. Out of frustration I pulled out the InnoFader box, it is very small so I kept it with my DDJ SX2 original crossfader in it, and that was when I noticed that cute tiny tube of DeOxIt. I used 3 drops and the 99% of the issues solved. The movement felt like a hot knife through melted butter. Smooth! I had unfortunately handled the InnoFader in a manner that caused it to eventually skip or jump around as it went to the left or right 100%. As it would close or turn the sound to the left or right off. It would occasionally jump towards the middle open. I did check curve settings and made sure I was not in CUT mode. The curve setting dial was half way. Mechanically I must have pulled the lever towards me, causing the carriage to fail partially.

Amazing Product
I started getting back into recording on my Tascam DP-32SD. I knew that record #1 knob needed to be cleaned so I always used another one. When I started to record last week all my record knobs were scratchy and needed to be cleaned. I started to look for a repair place to take my Tascam in. Actually I thought about purchasing another porta studio because every musician knows if you take your gear in to be repaired you might want to think about getting something new because of the cost. I saw a guy in a video pimping this product for his Tascam. I thought for $20 what do I have to lose. I received it today and within a few minutes my record knobs were working like new. I don't know what is in this stuff but it works great. I posted some pictures because I saw some 1 star reviews that the straw did not fit the nozzle making the product useless. As of today 6/7/2026 there was no issue for me. I also thought that it was a great idea that you can adjust the spray to Low Medium or High. A very clever idea. Try this first before you take your gear in for a cleaning. What do you have to lose? It will only cost you $20 and a Tascam, or other music repair shop, probably uses the same stuff and will charge you $300.

The best stuff for slide pots and faders!
The only thing I use on conductive plastic faders and slide pots. It doesn't wash out the lube or remove conductive carbon. I've been an electronics tech for 30+ years, and FaderLube has saved many a vintage stereo without having to replace all the potentiometers. Great stuff!

Totally fixed my scratchy potentiometer
One of the machines I use daily at work has a control knob that is a pot that controls the speed of a wheel turning. The speed of the wheel is very critical. The pot was at the point where I couldn't control speed reliably anymore. To replace the knob the whole machine would need to be taken apart to get to it. Long story short, I sprayed some of this in the shaft portion of the knob and twisted it a few times. This totally took care of the problem. The speed is 100% controllable now. Not only that, the action of twisting it feel much smoother not. This is awesome stuff. Reminds me of TV Tuner that use to work great, but was taken off the market for some reason.

You know what it is are you with me buying it
Been using it for years and years and years. I use a lot of CRAIG product... Good stuff. I along with many other technicians that I know, really prefer the red removable stem though... I guess Craig is just trying to sell more product LOL. Maybe they figured more convenient or is your to store on your bench or your workbox, whatever. Craig products Rock!

Miracle Juice!
This little can saved me two grand! Have an old Presonus Studiolive 16:4:2 ai. The main output fader has been slowly going bad. Got to the point where volume from the unit would get soft and loud without moving the fader. Had dead spots in the fader and other spots that would be full volume. Tried using a compressor as well as some standard tuner/contact cleaner with no change. Was getting ready to purchase a new mixer. Trying to source a new fader and install it was more that I was willing to attempt. As a last resort per some google results researching fader repair I ordered this product. Used as direct and voila! I have a perfectly functioning fader.

This Fader Lube Really Works
I used this fader cleaner / lube to fix a noisy static headphone volume control on a sony cd player. Sprayed it liberally into the 2 small holes on the volume pot to flush it out & worked the volume control to distribute the solution. Now there is no more noisy static while adjusting the volume on my headphones. The supplied straw fits the nozzle very snugly & needs a bit of finesse to install. This stuff is highly recommended

Solid piece of kit
This product works really well but it isn't cheap. However it can save you from having to track down obsolete components , or waste time trying to find compatible components

Sehr gute Qualität 👍
Das Zeug hält seinen Preis aber es gibt meiner Meinung nach nichts besseres für Fader und Potentiometer.
