Is the pendant heavy? I don’t want something that is going to be pulling on my neck.

No I don’t feel it too heavy. I do wear sports bra type under garment. I tuck the pendent in the garment so it does not get twisted on the straps. Sometimes it needs moved over if I’m laying on it. The chain is long. This is good for easy on/off but pain if it gets twisted around clothing. I have worn and not taken off ( unless it got twisted but right back on) for almost a year and it still looks good and you can read it.

is there a 26 or 28 inch chain

Actual length of chain is 22 inches not 23.6 . Why skimp on such a small thing?

If you select the dnr pendant can the reverse side be engraved? i don't see any way to specify that

I’m not sure if they offer this service. if you took it to a jeweler, I would not see a problem with them engrave whatever you want on it.
