Excellent Performance, Value, Customer Support
5-STAR WATER FILTRATION PERFORMANCE WITH NO LEAKS 5-STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH LIVE USA BASED, KNOWLEDGABLE TECH SUPPORT I’d researched residential water filtration systems for a while. I kept coming back to iSpring. BEFORE YOU BUY: MEASURE YOUR WATER PRESSURE (PSI) AND TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS (TDS/PPM) then contact iSpring and they’ll recommend the system optimized for your unique water issues. I purchased a ppm digital water meter for around $20 at plumbing supply store, ran my ‘cold’ sink water and wrote down my ppm. Install a water pressure gauge (psi gauge) which may require a plumber, or purchase a gauge with a female threaded end to connect to a garden hose or utility sink with a threaded faucet. Last resort is if you are on municipal water, call your city water department, provide your address and ask for the psi to your address, they’ll give you an ‘estimated’ psi range. Record your ‘static’ psi readings when no water is running in the building. A psi reading, when water is flowing, may result in a slightly lower reading (depending on how the building is plumbed). If you are in a multi-family dwelling, verify if you are on separate water meters, if not, try and take several readings at low water use times, such as early mornings before neighbors wake, then calculate the average psi. Call iSpring, give them your ppm and static psi readings. They will advise you on the correct system to meet your unique water ppm and psi readings. Low psi residences may require an iSpring system with a water pressure pump, whereas high psi residences may require a system with an iSpring factory preset pressure reducer. iSpring is engineered to provide optimum performance between 45-70 static psi. The closer you can get to 70 psi, without going over, the better the RO filter will work and last. iSpring provides 5-STAR product support. I called and spoke to Nick a customer support manager, a real U.S.A. based professionally trained tech support specialist who has the answers memorized and is not reading a script. Inside the shipping box flap is a QR code. I suggest you scan it and watch the highly produced installation video and use it often. Each installation step has individually wrapped corresponding parts with individual installation instruction booklets. Installation is fool-proof. When you install and begin cutting tubes, never cut with scissors, pilers, serrated blades or knife. Each locking clip has a tab, the tab must always face the tube and not fitting. I had no leaks first time out. Mount the filter metal manifold - with the 3 pre-filters - before you flush them, as flushing the system with water will add weight and make it difficult for one person to lift and mount it. I suggest getting some scrap 2”x4” lumber or brick pavers to rest the pre-filter canisters on while you mark your screw holes with your sharpie marker. Be certain to mount the bracket high enough to leave room below to remove the pre-filter canisters. Install mounting screws, check for fit, then place the system on a towel on the floor during the entire installation process to assure full view of all fittings and inspect for leaks. Hang the filter manifold as your last step, leave the tube slack and zip tie them out of the way. The 3 Pre-filter canister O-rings are loose fit into a groove and should be installed vertically into the manifold to prevent the O-rings from unseating while you hand tighten. Don’t lay the canisters down to install them. Once installed, stand the filter system on a towel on the floor, then begin the filter flush step as directed and watch for leaks. If leaks appear, use the wrench turning it slowly until the leak stops, then stop tightening. This prevents over tightening and leaking. iSpring systems are designed to operate in a maximum ambient temperature of 100 degrees F. For hot climates, I suggest purchasing 3M Company adhesive cupboard door stops. They are rubber pads with glue backing. Stick them on the inside of your frame so they contact the cupboard door and create a gap between your cupboard door and frame to allow air circulation. Hang a thermometer in the cupboard to be sure. After installing your iSpring system, the remineralization stage releases more minerals over time as it breaks-in, so your ppm will increase. Furthermore, your static water pressure (psi) has an inverse relation to remineralization. The higher the psi, the lower the minerals released. A psi close to 70 will increase system filtering, life of your RO filter and decrease waste water. CONCLUSION: From my experience: iSpring provides world-class product support and filtration system. My water system has no leaks, and is currently providing water, with minerals added, at 10 ppm. It is clear and delicious. iSpring is American engineered and backed by 'Nick' their expert live American-based customer support manager iSpring RCC7AK-UV All components tested by and passed/exceeded NSF/ANSI 58 Certified Standards iSpring will advise you on the proper system when you provide your water ppm and static psi readings and support you through your entire DIY installation

Perfect RO system and great Customer Support
I decided to go for this RO system to replace my current rental RO system that I was renting for 4 years. It was basic and they kept increasing the price yearly. I did lots of research and settled on this system. It covers everything I am looking for in an RO filtration system to provide decent water quality for my family. Installation was easy and straightforward with the installation manual and video. The color coded pipes and connections made it even easier and foolproof. Water flow is decent and water tastes great. I checked the TDS. My city water supplied TDS is around 550 ppm, and the RO filtered water TDS is around 30 ppm, which is perfect (considering I have Alkaline stage, which adds back some minerals). I noticed that there is some over drainage from the filter. I contacted the customer support, and for my surprise, there was no waiting time or leave a message and we will come back to you! I explained my concerns to Nick and he went with me through the installation, guided me to check the tank pressure to make sure it is adequate, and to check the supply water pressure, doing some tests, step by step. I am an engineer, and I recognized that he is very knowledgeable and knows the system in depth. After monitoring and sending him the water pressure readings, it showed up that my main water supply is fluctuating and goes below the recommended water pressure, which causes the RO system to over drain. Nick proposed to send me a new RO system with booster pump, to compensate for the low water pressure, which I am grateful to.

Best Water Solution for Me!
First things first, I have well water and a whole house filter system in place that includes a sediment filter and chlorinator. The system was installed when I bought my home and the water tasted really odd, which I assume is because I had to add bleach to the chlorinator. There are mineral deposits on all of the shower heads and in the metal sink drains from the pre-existing system, which tells me that something isn't working very well to make my water pure. I have been buying Aquafina 24 packs of bottled water @$5 for years going through ~5/week that comes out to ~$25/week (unless the prices vary). I was gettin tired of having to carry the water into the house and having to recycle over a hundred plastic bottles per week. In addition to those bottles I was also buying 3 one gallon packs of distilled water for my coffee machine. I finally had enough and decided to sign up for water service from Crystal Springs, which to put it briefly was a total disaster. Every step of the process with this company was a struggle from the initial sign-up, through deliveries, to cancellation and picking-up equipment. I really don't recommend these DS water service (Crystal Spring) people if you have any alternative. Putting it in perspective, I spent less time setting up my iSpring seven stage filter than I did just on hold waiting to talk to DS customer service. With a little background established, I have to say that I had a fairly easy time setting up the filter system because I didn't have to drill a hole in my counter or sink. Instead, I elected to remove the handheld dish sprayer from the side and utilize the existing hole for the filtered water faucet. This was a bit of a hassle for other reasons than the installation of the filter, particularly that I didn't know how to take the sprayer apart for removal and then I reassembled it incorrectly. I will be replacing my main faucet with a sprayer style built in to resolve the lack of a sprayer for my dishes. The entire installation too me around 2.5 hours with some interruption and sprayer complication. I cycled the system per the instructions to flush out the tank and filters. The water initially was a little cloudy after purging and refilling, so I flushed it again to be safe. The water was a little clearer and tasted pretty good over the pre-filtered state. I left the tank overnight and had a glass of water the next morning and noted a very odd taste and smell to the water. Before purchace, I read several reviews of the system and was concerned that I was getting stage 7 (untraviolet light) contamination as others have indicated they experienced. Per other reviews I tried filling and emptying the tank a few times, but after a few hours it seemed like the water started to taste nasty again. I was about to return the system and chalk it up to another failed venture, but I decided to give iSpring customer service a chance to see if there was another possible culprit. They said that the tank is to blame because of the bladder that it inside of the standard tank. It is some sort of plastic or rubber material that some people are more sensitive to thank others. They suggested that with regular use the taste would even out and become more balanced, but I'd already tried emptying out the tank several times with no improvement in taste after a few hours of sitting. They offered to send me a new "special" tank that is redesigned for people that are sensitive to the other tank. I accepted the replacement tank offer and waited for it to arrive. They said that I could use the system with the tank turned off, but the flow of water was almost nonexistant, so it was pretty unrealistic to use the system without the pressurized tank. It took ~4 days to get the new tank and just a few minutes to install it, but WOW what a difference! The water is no longer cloudy and the smell is gone. This now meets most of my water needs since I can fill drinking glasses and my BPA free water bottles for when I'm in the office or on the go. Thank you for the replacement tank iSpring, please consider including this tank by default on all of your newly purchased kits. I saw that you've taken customer feedback into consideration with the untraviolet light portion by adding the pressure switch to the kit based on customer feedback. I'm certain that all new customers will appreciate the "special" tank as a part of their kit, even if the cost is increased slightly. After everything that I've been through just trying to get clean water, I recommend this system to anyone wanting a better alternative to bottled water or terrible delivery servce.

Exceptional product and support!
This was genuinely a lot easier than I thought it would be. Everything came in very well packaged. Instructions are well documented, and there are YouTube videos showing you what to do. Everything went smoothly. I connected it to my fridge, and it worked. Unfortunately, because my fridge is a little bit further from the system, the water pressure was a little low, so I called their support to inquire about what I can do. Nick answered my call. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me all the tips and tricks. I essentially needed an extra storage tank for added pressure to be installed near the fridge, and he offered to send it over for free! Event without the free tank, it's a five stars for me. The water tastes great, it was easy to install, and their support is exceptional. I'll update this once I install the tank with the results in case someone with the same issue I have is interested.

ONE AND A HALF STARS
What a ridiculous hassle! If you value your time and energy - and if you really want a unit that ALKALIZES your water -- then bypass this and look at a more expensive unit like TapMaster. In my research, it came down to this unit or the TapMaster Artesian Full Contact 7-stage, but I ultimately decided on this because of price. Three months after my purchase, I regret buying this and wish I had just spent the extra money on the TapMaster instead. Yes, there is supposed to be a 30-day money back guarantee, but we had some unexpected scheduling conflicts and didn't get it installed in that period of time. Now, while the company has sent us gratis extra filters to keep us happy, we are stuck with a system that does not do everything we bought it to do. So here are the SPECS of the system: The filter housing measures 18"h x 15"d x 5"w. The 3.2 gal storage tank is 11"w x 14"h. This particular model is made for normal water pressure so it does not come with a booster pump. Because of the UV light, it does require an electrical outlet, preferably one you can switch on and off. The PROS: 1. THE REVERSE OSMOSIS WORKS. I have not had the water lab-tested but can tell that the water is more pure because of how acidic it is after going through the system. Because we needed to drill through the countertop to plug in the UV light, we did not have the UV and alkalizing filter set up for the first couple weeks of use. So, it was effectively a 5-stage system. Without passing through the alkalizing filter, the purified water has a pH of 5.8 on litmus paper, which is what you would expect after removing most toxins and minerals, including calcium and magnesium. In comparison, my tap water was in the 6.4 to 6.6 range. Unfortunately, this acidic water also turned out to be a CON, because the alkalizing filter did not re-alkalize the water sufficiently to bump its pH into the alkaline range. The CONS: 1. Installing this system WITHOUT FULL INSTRUCTIONS is an exercise in guesswork! As other reviewers have stated, the instructions aren't sufficient and don't address the alkalizing and UV filters at all. My hubby is handy and figured it out but it took awhile. 2. NOT ALL THE PARTS WERE INCLUDED in the box, and one piece came damaged. Other pieces weren't high quality and had to be `doctored' in order to work. One of the factory-installed elbow connectors had a pin-hole leak in it. "We" (that's code for Hubby!) used one of the included replacement parts that came with the unit instead, but that needed a whopping 16 thicknesses of teflon tape to seal the joint! It is almost as if the joint wasn't even designed to fit at all. Of course in the process, my hubby had to take the joint apart 4 times to get the thickness right before it stopped leaking. He had also planned to install the tube inserts that were supposed to be included in the package, but they weren't. 3. DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN A HEADACHE. The system wasn't fully functional right out of the box - though the company claimed in their emails to me that they have changed their packaging to better protect components - and it took numerous emails to get issues resolved. There seem to be only two customer service reps, and though they usually respond within 24hours, it is apparent that English is not their first language. They answer questions pretty well, but small grammar errors here and there indicate to me that they are based in China (where the system is manufactured). The system was a lower price when I first began asking customer service questions about the unit before purchasing it. I made the mistake of mentioning that I had just a few more questions before I purchased the unit. By the next morning, they had raised the Amazon price by ten dollars. So before I ordered, I asked them if they would match the lower price, and they agreed to refund the difference after the transaction. Two credit card statements later I still had not received the refund. It took two emails to finally get that cleared up. I had to email iSpring THREE times to finally get the missing tube inserts. Each time they responded and told me they would drop them in the mail. It took two emails before they sent the extra elbow fittings, but when they did they sent several extra. Another few emails before we had received the right replacement filters in lieu of a partial refund. WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE! 4. Before use, the unit HAD TO BE FLUSHED MORE TIMES THAN INDICATED. After installation we immediately flushed the system for 10 minutes, before the tank had actually filled. After that, we emptied the tank five more times to flush it completely before we began drinking it. I did taste it during the third tank flush. It looked cloudy at first, but that was from air bubbles that settled. It tasted better than tap water but not yet as clean as the water we had been purchasing from our local grocery store's RO dispenser, so we continued with the flushes just to be on the safe side. It tasted clean enough to drink after five full tank flushes. 5. THE "ALKALIZED" WATER IS NOT, in fact, alkaline at all. Only one other reviewer (at the time of my purchase in 3/13) mentioned this, so I now have to assume that none of the other reviewers even tested the pH of their water. Other reviewers tested the TDS (total dissolved solids), but that really won't tell you enough since the alkaline filter should be adding calcium and magnesium back into the water, which will increase the TDS readings. The big problem here is that we spent extra money so that our everyday drinking and cooking water would be ALKALINE. That was the entire point of this system. I emailed the company beforehand to ask how much increase in alkalinity they guarantee. "Claudia" responded: "The Alkaline filter changes the acidic RO water into a perfect Natural Alkali Calcium Ionized Water. The Alkaline filter simply gives back minerals such as ionized calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium ion, which were taken away while purifying the water. The Alkaline filter is effective and give the water pH value of 8.00~9.00." As I wrote above, the 5-stage system produced water with a pH of 5.8 on litmus paper. The included alkaline filter did nothing at all to increase the pH. That is way too acidic to be drinking every day. I wrote the company, and they sent another "stronger" alkalizing filter. Instead of two chambers of pellets for the water to pass through, this new one had three. Okay, more hassle. We uninstalled the `old' alkalizing filter and reinstalled the new one. We tested its pH immediately and it was almost a perfect 7.0. When I filled my glass with the water, though, it was cloudy white. I let it sit on the counter and the white particles sank to the bottom, leaving a noticeable chalky layer at the bottom of the glass. So, we flushed the entire tank again until the water ran clear and have retaken the pH several times since. It is once again a very acidic 6.0, while the tap water is in the 6.4 to 6.6 range. See above for photos. I contacted iSpring and requested a full refund on the alkalizing portion of the unit. Since it is obvious that iSpring's "alkalizing" technology is useless, I wonder why they bother to guarantee it. Maybe they just hope that no one will actually test it and hold them accountable. I finally agreed to let them send me a year's supply of filter replacements in lieu of an alkalizer refund. They sent the less powerful alkalizing filter (we had expected to try another one to see if the one we installed was just `bad.'), so clearing that up took yet another email. By this time I was MAD. In response they sent me a box of 5 of the more powerful alkalizing filters - clorosex - which they tell me aren't even on the market yet. 6. THIS SYSTEM USES MORE WATER THAN YOU THOUGHT! We did not attach the drain hose to the sink drain because Texas is in drought, so there is NO way we are going to send wasted water down the drain. Instead, we planned to drain it into a rain barrel set-up outside the house to water the lawn and inedible flowers. For the first few weeks using the system, we didn't have the barrel system set up yet. So, in the meantime, we attached the store-bought clear tubing to the unit and drained the system into 5 gallon buckets in the kitchen, which we later emptied outside. This was where I was surprised. The description indicates that all iSpring units wastes about 2 gallons of waste water for every 1 gallon of purified water, but the ratio is at least 3:1. The waste water from refilling the 3.2 gallon tank filled two 5 gallon orange Home Depot buckets near to overflowing. This was consistent for the six times that we refilled the tank before attaching the tube to the barrel set-up. 7. Other reviewers indicated that if THE UV LIGHT is left on all the time the water flowing from the light into the faucet will be too hot to drink at first. I believe this is true for all UV RO systems, so we decided to simply plug the UV cord into a switched outlet. Our kitchen is an outdated 1950's model, and we only have one electrical outlet in the space to start with. So, in order to plug in the UV power cord, we had to drill a hole in the countertop to string the power cord through. Another appliance covers the hole, and the UV light is now plugged into a power strip that I switch on and off when I need to use the appliances there. We plan to remodel soon, and the countertop is icky 1950's formica, so no loss there! 8. Another reviewer indicated that the combination of a chemical in the storage tank and the UV light is creating a SMELLY, TOXIC CHEMICAL REACTION IN THE WATER - "butyl mercaptan, the same chemical that odorizes natural gas." (comment on 3/15/13 review) Originally, we were not having this problem since we the water we were drinking was not sitting in the storage tank for any large amount of time. Every few days, I was filling a new 3 gallon bottle to fit on our cooler. Most recently, though, I filled several of these bottles at once, so the remaining water sat in the storage tank for a few weeks before I needed to fill another bottle for the cooler. Now, the water that has been sitting in the storage tank for awhile is passing the UV filter and it stinks as it comes out of the faucet.

Powerful Filtration with Great Taste – Worth It!
Really impressed with this system so far! The water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher right away. I like the 7-stage filtration with UV and alkaline features—it gives confidence that impurities are removed effectively. Installation takes some effort, but the quality and performance make it worth it. Great investment for safe, great-tasting drinking water at home.

Excellent Water Quality, Easy Installation, and Outstanding Support
I am extremely satisfied with this under-sink water filtration system. From the very first day, the difference in the taste and quality of the water has been noticeable. The water tastes fresh, clean, and free of any strange flavors, which really shows how effective the filtration system is. The installation was surprisingly easy. Everything was well explained, and the video tutorial was incredibly clear and easy to follow, even for someone without plumbing experience. I had the system up and running in no time. Another highlight is the excellent technical support. The customer service team was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. In addition, obtaining the three-year extended warranty was very simple— I just had to speak with the agent Francis, who was attentive and efficient throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this filtration system to anyone looking to improve their home’s water quality with a reliable product, easy installation, and outstanding customer support.

Easy Under Sink Install - Great Water!
I LOVE THIS SYSTEM. It was a snap to install (really - after I figured out WHY every tube ran where it did with the help of AI. I took pictures and uploaded them and ChatGPT explained EVERYTHING). The system went together easily and the faucet went right in. My well water pressure is a bit low so I ordered a booster pump I'll install when it arrives. Apparently this will help the RO membrane to function most efficiently. No leaks and plenty of good water for drinking, pets and cooking. UPDATE: Booster pump went right in easy peasy and now my system is running perfect and TDS is down to around 20 ppm. With a remineralization component THAT'S PERFECT DRINKING WATER.

Excellent product, fantastic customer service!
If anyone is considering buying a good water filter, look no further! The iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System is what you want. If you think you might need help, do not worry! The customer service is excellent! They will make you feel nice and comfortable when you contact them. I am not sure if I can find the right words to express how fantastic experience I have had with iSpring exceptional customer service! But let's start from the beginning (not from Adam and Eve though, do not worry! LOL). Why I have bought a water filter. Most people do not know that the mineral water sold in plastic bottles is not healthy at all. There are 7 types of plastics and plastic containers are marked with a triangle of three "chasing arrows", which encloses a number giving the plastic type. The plastics which are typically used to hold water but also soft drinks, juice, sports drinks, beer, mouthwash, ketchup, and salad dressing are made from a plastic marked as number 1. That indicates that those containers are made of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). Although that plastic is considered to be safe, it contains antimony, a metalloid element with toxic qualities, which leaches from PET. The rate of leakage increases with temperature and can yield unhealthy levels in bottles stored in higher temperature. Antimony can cause acute and chronic health issues, such as diarrhoea, vomiting, and stomach ulcers. Brominated compounds can also leach into PET bottles. They can irritate the skin, mucous membranes, and tissues. If you bear in mind that even though the levels of toxins leached from PET could be considered as on a safe level, they may accumulate in your system over a period of time becoming a serious health risk. That is why I decided to install a multilevel water filtration system at my home. Why I have bought iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System. The iSpring 7-Stage 75 GPD UV Ultra Violet Alkaline Mineral Reverse Osmosis Water System seemed to be the best offer on the market. It cleans your water from everything you need for a good price. I was not sure if I should order the system with or without the booster pump. I live in a big city and I thought the city water pressure should be strong enough to work with the system so I decided to go for the one without the booster pump. My buying experience. The order arrived quickly and before I even started installing the system, I received an e-mail from iSpring to thank for the purchase and to say that if the Feed Water Adapter (AFW) that taps into the cold water line did not fit my plumbing specifications, they would fully refund (shipping included) for the order of the AFWs that I needed. They included two links to AFWs which I could choose from. Once I ordered the AFW, I e-mailed iSpring customer service and almost instantly I was issued the full refund for my order! My installation experience. The installation of the system was easy. The package contained a very easy instruction with colour photos leading you through all the steps of the process. If you do everything as the instruction manual says, you will be fine. I did not have any problem at all, no leakage whatsoever. My surprise. Everything was fine but I noticed that my water tank stored only 2-2.5 litres of water. I wanted to use filtered water not only for drinking and cooking but also for washing fruits and vegetables and that volume of water was not acceptable for me. My contact with the customers service. I e-mailed customer service and they replied very quickly giving me a short check list. It was very easy to follow the instruction and give the system a check. The whole process took a couple of minutes. Further instructions made us come to a conclusion that my water pressure was below 45 psi and that was a problem. I needed a system with a booster pump. I was too optimistic thinking that my city water should be fine and I did not need the booster pump. Once we identified the problem, the iSpring customer service came with a solution. To make it easier for me and avoid possibly a bit complicated installation of the booster pump and its components on my existing system, they offered ordering a machine head with a booster pump factory installed. And here comes the best! As they understood that the water storage was of great inconvenience to me, they reduced the price of the machine head from 90 to 50 dollars! Since it had to be shipped from iSpring office in the United States, not the shop in the United Kingdom, where I live, that would generate some extra costs of shipping and the import tax. iSpring customer service offered me splitting the costs of shipping and the import tax! Solving the problem. My problem was solved. After installation the machine head with booster pump, the tank stores about 10 litres of water and that is what I need! I can hardly hear the pump working. The water pressure is very good and the tank fills up very quickly. The water tastes fantastic, much better than bottled water, no plastic aftertaste. My final thoughts. What else would you want from a customer service?! They could not do anything more or better! They are exceptionally kind, understanding, efficient, and professional! I highly recommend iSpring water to everybody. They are like a good friend, who is always around when you need them. I was very lucky having chosen iSpring and their product.

Easy to install BUT it comes with 110V UV power supply only...
Easy to install. Water tastes good. The UV lamp comes with 110V ballast - one would expect that the manufacturer would use a universal ballast 110/220V that can be used everywhere (since it is globally distributed by Amazon). In short UV does not work for me - unless I buy a 220V ballast.
