Q: Why aren't these suitable to use with citrus oils?

The material used for the rollers is a BPA free "Thick Food Grade Plastic". When used with pure citrus essential oils the citrus weakens the plastic to a relax state sometimes causing the ball to fall out. Same with the HOT oils. The most important thing to remember is to store you oil bottle in the upright position and when you use it, invert the bottle, roller your oil or perfume on and back to the upright position. I hope I was able to help. Thank You.

Q: Where are these made?

Don’t know. I’ve thrown out the box. They all worked great. No problems at all.

Q: Are the roll on inserts leak proof?

Great Question: The term Leak Proof is in relation to the insert being inserted in the bottle neck and the cap in place. Yes, they are Leak Proof! If the bottle setting upright on a counter falls over it will not leak. #2. I get asked "When I turn the bottle upside down with the cap off it leaks." Yes, it is supposed to drip otherwise you will not get any oil or liquid to the ball. To reduce the dripping simply remove the cap, invert the bottle, and put the roller on your skin and roll. When you are done invert the bottle and cap it. If you take an insert, any roller insert and shake it you should feel the ball moving up and down within the insert. That ball seals the oil within the bottle and when in use allows oil out of the sealed bottle. FYI, If you are using thin viscosity oils or liquids you should be using a glass ball. They are designed for Low to Mid grade viscosity (Thinner) oils or liquids. If you are using Thick oils or oils with FCO you should be using a stainless steel roller since they are designed for heavier oils or liquids. The pictured rollers should not be used with citrus oils or blends with any citrus as stated in the ad. Sorry for the long response. Thank You.
