These are a bit expensive, but I purchased this 2-pack of Philips Hue White and Colour Ambiance bulbs to upgrade my living room lighting at 40% off. They have completely transformed the space. This isn't the first Philips Hue bulds I have purchased as I am in the process of kitting out the entire house with them, so great when they are on offer! Setup was quick and painless as usual - just screw in the bulbs, open the Hue app, and they were ready to go in minutes. They work flawlessly with Alexa without any issues; which is my home assistant I use with most items in the house. The brightness is excellent at 1100 lumens, easily bright enough for reading or working, and the dimming feature is smooth and responsive. The colour options are where these bulbs really shine - millions of shades to choose from, plus preset scenes that instantly change the mood of the room. Whether I want a warm, cozy glow for movie night or bright daylight tones for productivity, it’s all just a tap away. The Bluetooth control is handy for quick setup, but I have the Hue Bridge and pair them with that to unlock the full experience, including remote control and advanced automations. Energy efficiency is another plus - these bulbs use far less power than traditional lighting while offering so much more flexibility. If you’re looking to start or expand your smart home lighting, this pack is a fantastic choice. The quality, reliability, and features make it worth every penny. It may seem an expensive up-front cost byt the longevity and durability of these bulbs make it worth it. Exceptional quality. They are super bright, but have incredible dimming support, automation, and functionality through the hue bridge and app.

We all know the Hue system comes at a cost. The bulb itself is excellent, great build quality, strong bright colours and of course connects to your phillips hue system. You do need a bridge to make it work so don't buy expecting to plug in and off you go. Why only 4 stars? The price. You don't get anything that you can't get from a similar product that's ten times cheaper other than being part of the Hue eco system. If I could go back in time I would just pick another brand and use that but I'm trapped as had invested a lot into Hue.

They are a little bit more expensive than other smart lightbulbs, but in my opinion, they’re worth the extra cost. Never had any issues with them and they work superbly well with a Hue hub. Would definitely recommend for any smart home lighting.

I bought these to use with my Home Assistant setup, I do not have a phillips hue bridge. I have had absolutely no issues pairing to HA using Zigbee \ MQTT, they work perfectly well never have any problems with them and they recieve regular firmware updates via HA. Decent price, brightness and colour and stable on the zigbee network.

Fantastic lights! I have an iPhone and a google home mini (basically a google nest as the newer version) and not only is the Philips Hue app simple and seamless to use, but I am also able to integrate it with my google home. It is very bright even when used as a single bulb in a lamp - one bulb lights up my whole bedroom. The frosted bulb means that it’s nice to look at and doesn’t hurt your eyes if you accidentally glance at it. Overall a great product and you don’t need to have a Philips Bridge to set it up - just Bluetooth!

Easy to set up and super functionality, can turn off one lightbulb if you like to just have one (if both are on one switch) and can dim them for ambience.

This was purchased to replace a previous Philips Hue (E27) bulb that had failed after just 5 years. It does what it's supposed to do although Hue are not the brightest smart bulbs available and they are very expensive compared with other makes these days. Trouble is, once you're locked in to the Philips Hue ecosystem, it's a pain to start over with something else. For the most part they are easy to install and do just work.

The color pallette is awesome and its very easy to control using the HUE app. When combined with other HUE products the experience is seamless and creates such a cool room experience. Be aware (maybe I missed it from the product description) that these particular product/model does not work and seamlessly connect with Google Home without the HUE bridge. Now I use it with a HUE bridge, but I was able to control it via Bluetooth as well on its own.

Lo que tienen las marcas top como philips. Calidad a raudales. Eso si, la calidad se paga. Ya final, sale barato. Es necesario el hub de Philips o bien un Alexa que pueda gestionar dispositivos Zigbee.

Hue light sources are to my knowledge unmatched in quality. It is a bit disappointing that this newer version has a plastic blub instead of glass, but I assume that it is for a reason. They are super bright and have incredible dimming support. Many other light sources have their brightness cut in half when not set to the color they are optimized for. Some seem to dim the light source to achieve lower color temperatures. That is not my experience with these (or any other) Hue light sources.

These Philips Hue Light Globes are indeed smart in many ways and brighter than usual. First and foremost they are LED light globes that consume little electricity but yet give a bright radiance that ‘Lights Up’ the room to your satisfaction. Not only that, they have built-in Bluetooth technology so that you can turn them on/off with your smart phone or watch. Also when coupled with a Philips Hue bridge (Sold separately) you will have full access to its capabilities including dimming, timed schedules to wake up (turn on) or sleep (turn off) at times that you specify eg. sunset to sunrise which adjusts automatically as daylight hours change, fade in/out, pre-set scenes etc are all possible with these smart globes. Price is on the high side, however they last ages without having to replace them so quickly. So you will understand the long term saving advantages. Go ahead and buy them, you won’t regret it
