It doesn't get any easier than this- on inspection, it's well made and very sturdy. I put the SSD into the adapter, it fit perfectly and very snug. I attached it to the inside of my PC, hooked it up and it works perfectly. Note it has several ways you can mount it, either into a hard drive slot or caddy, or as I did, find a place and bolt it to the casing. It seems like it won't have any heating issues, but in my PC, there's a fan blowing across it. This is an easy way at a great price to convert your older hard drives to SSDs and still have them fit properly into your machine.

Excellent adapters. I’m using 5 of them for both 2.5” HDDs and SSDs in my server caddies, and they work flawlessly. Solid build, perfect fit, and no issues with installation or operation. Exactly what I needed. Highly recommend.

The ORICO 2.5" SSD to 3.5" Drive Bay Adapter is a simple, sturdy, and affordable way to mount an SSD in a desktop PC. Installation is quick, the screw holes line up perfectly, and the SATA ports end up right where a 3.5" drive’s would be—no cable hassles. It holds the drive securely and doesn’t affect performance. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense bracket that does its job well. Highly recommended for easy SSD upgrades.

Perfect fit, no issues at all. Works as advertised and expected. Saved me lots of money to buy new hard drive and was able to use my old SSD drive with new interface.

A small design fix would make this perfect. A spring-loaded plate should push the SSD towards the connector, making the assembly screw-less, fast and easy. Luckily, screws are provided, so the assembly was quick and easy. The box fit perfectly into the bay and the SSD seems happy in its new home. The casing is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), which is a thermal insulator and has extremely low heat‑transfer capability. It has 1000x worse thermal conductivity than aluminum. So, your SSD is in a oven. Keep that in mind and make sure you provide some sort of heat dissipation!

This was an easy and perfect replacement to take out a Seagate HDD from a Dell Inspiron computer and put in a SSD. The original drive was 3.5, and the SSD was 2.5. The old drive popped right out of the Dell holder, and this adapter snapped into place. Perfect fit and no movement.

Ideal for replacing the old 3.5"HDD in a computer with a new 2.5" HDD where the hard drive needs to be exactly the same size as a 3'5" drive. This may be the case where the drive plugs directly into computers mainboard without a cable, such as laptop or "all in one" PC such as the older HP Smart Touch. Good quality unit with all necessary screws.
