It's a little bigger than expected. Not a negative, as it might make handling a lot easier, just putting it out there. The ends are not as sharp as expected but that can be fixed. It came with a an absolutely beautiful sling pouch

The most reliable tool
This comb is just the thing I needed to undue my braids and detangle my hair. It's so much better than the traditional metal or plastic combs, which tend to pull on my hair and cause more damage. This comb is made of a sturdy strong wood with a smooth finish, allowing it to slide with ease through my hair. It doesn't matter the size or thickness of my braids, this combs still pierces right through the center of the ends of my hair and unravels each loop. It also came with a nice pouch. I'd highly recommend and purchase again, especially for ethnic, thick or coarse hair.
