This product is being used for a pressure sore near the tailbone that appeared on my son during a hospitalization that lasted 1 month. During that time he had noticeably lost a lot of weight and has no body fat or padding on his bottom, so this dressing has provided protection for the area to heal. After a couple weeks the area has healed up nicely. This product was the right choice and I would recommend it to anyone who has this problem.

The product is a specialized open wound treatment. It is important to use the correct product in a timely fashion. Both of those goals met. Thank you.

They provide padding and coverage for my mom’s pressure sores, but are outrageously costly at about $6 for each patch. If using a cream, or even just using the toilet, the patch either comes off on its own or needs to be removed. They can’t be reapplied, so that amounts to more money than seems appropriate. Insurance does not pay for them either. They might be tax deductible under OTC medical expenses. Unfortunately, we have not found a better patch for Mom’s needs.

These are wonderful if using them for the sacral area (lower back). The adhesive is great in case the person has diarrhea. Keeps "everything" (cool word) out of the bed sore. If you're dealing with wound care, you understand what I mean. I have extras left if needed along with saline and gauze. ****

Good quality but you really need to know what is the best product for your situation. this had been used on me while I was in the hospital and they encouraged me to continue using it at home and it really helped a lot.
