(Note: should be 4 stars, not two stars)Carpe Diem -- this is a 2004 version of the software, "to be sold with a qualifying product". It is Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP-compatible, but NOT Vista-compatible. The product arrived promptly. The packaging was somewhat beat up, but the two CDs inside looked new. After an email complaint about the old software version, Netdirectbargains promptly offered me my money back less shipping (since we were talking about less than $5, I decided to keep the software). After you install the software on Windows XP and register thru the web (I did not try to install it on Vista), Webroot allows you to update to the latest versions of SpySweeper and Window Washer for no extra charge.

I ONLY GOT THIS FOR THE WINDOW WASHER, LOVE THAT SOFTWARE

The version that we received was very outdated, from the 90's to be exact. It did not protect us from these new ransomware viruses. Don't buy this!
