Delivery was slower than I expected. It took a week. This was a part for my central air so I sweltered for a few days. Pat is of good quality. I am thinking about ordering another one for back up. Exceptional priceing. Others were twice as expensive.

Excellent cap. Saved the day from the heat when the ac died. 5 minutes to switch it out and cold air started right away. Great build and good price point.

I prefer to fix problems myself, both to reap the satisfaction of knowing I can and to save myself over-priced labor fee's from professionals who seem to charge too much. This is not to say I am reckless and I have no problem paying if it's a job I can't do. Thusly, when the heat pump in my house decided it wanted to stop working, I called the professionals who--for 59$ showed up to give it a look.I don't like letting people roam my property without supervision, call me paranoid but it just doesn't sit well with me. Plus, I like to observe them so I can learn about the systems I own. Over the span of the 15 minutes he spent diagnosing the problem I paid careful attention and asked questions about what it was he was doing. When he identified the problem as a capacitor and said it would cost me 320$ for him to replace, I told him I'd need to think about his quote.The price to me seemed excessive and I wanted to make sure I wasn't being ripped off. I'm really glad I did, because that evening I researched all I could about the issue. I understand the inherent dangers of working with electrical current, but based on the reviews here and after consulting the existing capacitor in my system and the technical specifications for the unit itself to ensure this one would be an identical replacement, I elected to buy this part and give it a try, afterall we're talking a savings of 300$.It's been two weeks now and no issues. This replacement worked perfectly. So well, in fact, that I ordered another.
