Revamped the drip system in the hoop houses. These things work great. They make it easier to plumb drip sprinkler heads on 1/4” line. The manifolds even have a built in filter that is easy to access and clean. Individual pressure controls make it easy to adjust the spray radius for each of the 8 outputs. Caveat: be careful when attaching 1/4” line to the output tubes, they are prone to snapping off if you handle them roughly. If one does break, you can shut that one off with the adjustment screw.

It’s nice that Amazon carries stuff like this because when it comes season update irrigation lines The stores are sold out. This item worked perfectly for what we needed.

The design of this 8 port distributor is greatly improved over prior models. In prior models you could control each individual port. In this model you can control each individual port and the flow for all eight ports with a separate control. That is a great addition to the unit.

Can be touchy when adjusting, sometimes I have to go back and readjust. I use colored zip ties on each end of tubing to help identify which one I’m adjusting.

My last Orbit manifolds lasted over 8 years. However, due to environmental exposure they have become brittle and starting to break and had to adjust as the screws broke. Therefore, time to replace. Because they have lasted so long and, unlike other brands, are reasonably priced, fully adjustable and have proven to last, I will continue to use this product. You do have to be careful when inserting the tubing so as not to break the insertion arms. Also, the filter, which is easily accessible, must be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning. Each line has an individual screw you can adjust the amount of water flow. These new ones though, I've noticed the slot is wider than the older ones so, you will need a thicker screwdriver or tool to properly seat within the slot so as not to strip it. Overall, I highly recommend these manifolds as they provide great individual control to designated areas.

The other brand home depot one leaked like crazy. This one hasn't leaked 1 drop. Literally. Its good. As long as it last 1 or 2 years, I'm good replacing it.They're cheap

Another great concept that just didn't hold true to the drawing board estimations. Worked great for about a week, then I noticed that my plants weren't getting any water. Tried adjusting and reaming, to no avail. Took it off, took everything apart, etc. etc....nothing. I think that if someone took this concept, made it out of quality (brass?!?!) parts and sold it for 3 times as much, more people would purchase it and fewer people would complain about it's cheap-ass make-up, and Orbit would not only make money off it, but would underline and accentuate their reputation as a provider of quality. Right now that's is most certainly not the case. Do what I did...make your own and save your money. Maybe if it was made in the USA? Nah...that's getting crazy.... Hmmmm....I see that one can't leave a 'no-star' review. So a '1' you get, Orbit. Just for showing up!

My old heads we cracked and leaking, these don't leak, were very easy to install, they adjust perfectly for different drip heads, fit on my existing 1/2" risers perfectly and seem very durable.
