Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream - Nintendo Switch

Fantastic game, going for a second play through before the next one

This is by far the best Atelier game yet. Takes fewer risks than Ryza 1 and 2 by sticking with turn-based combat. Also unless you set it to "easy" the combat is no cakewalk, with plenty of boss fights and bosses that can easily take out an unprepared player. Unlike some games where you need to grind levels and skills in this game it's the usable items and equipment that greatly determine your ability to win battles. There are some basic combat strategies but it is mainly about having a variety of good items and judiciously using skills and other character abilities. The story or plot behind the game is top notch, character development is pretty good and the characters are generally likable though they can be annoying at times. The crafting system is straightforward and requires dropping shapes onto a tetris-like board to form links, while this can be a bit tedious it pays to take the time and do it yourself for the best items, rather than rely on the game to do it automatically. The gathering system is straightforward like in the other games, where you generally need good gathering tools to get good materials and an occasional minigame based around gathering that you can play to try to optimize the materials you get (these are uncommon and only happen at certain gathering spots, maybe several per map at most).

It came in a well protected package and has amazing graphics. Bought for my bf hope he enjoys the game came in great condition.

Love this game it’s one that I like to play when I want to relax and play something I can enjoy at a slower pace. The music plays a big part of why I find this game relaxing it's so good! The Graphics are good for the switch and the aesthetics of the world are great. However one thing I do not like is when the background become blurry at certain angles. I don’t know if its a switch only thing but it makes my eyes hurt. Maybe it's something I could get used to but really wish it didn’t occur.

This game changes up the classic Atelier formula bringing it more in line with the Ryza series. The alchemy system is more like a mix between Sophie and Ryza styles. The new battle system is great, the fights happen almost instantly on the field with little load time. Really cute and fun characters. If you’re in to the series, this one is a must have.

I cannot believe Ryza is reaching $80 for switch still, and this has dropped to $40. In my professional Atelier opinion, this is the better game. Buy this cheaper one instead. Ryza is trash unless you are brand new

Desde la aparición de atelier ryza, la saga a mejorado exponencialmente llegando a una cúspide grafica impresionante para la hibrida de Nintendo, sin dejar de destacar las mejoras respecto al modo de batalla que cambia de su entrega anterior y la mejora, en el aspecto alquímico mejora mucho la forma tanto de obtención de itemes como de creación aprovechando mucho el farmeo asociado al juego optimizándolo, este es un juego que no deben dejar pasar, mas si eres un fanático de esta saga.

Este Articulo no puede faltarte si eres amante de la saga Atelier que esta a un mejor precio que los de mas que son mas costosos ademas si esta muy bien el juego tiene buenos graficos buen sistema Rpg jugabilidad y excelentes Waifus para la Nintendo switch

If you like beautiful visuals and fun gameplay this game will be up your ally. If you played Atelier games before or the recent Atelier Ryza games then you'll be right at home and know what to expect here. Highly recommend adding this to your switch collection.
