I live in upstate new york and the temperature is below freezing. if the package comes while i’m away and the product freezes, does it still work once

As far as I know, yes. Ordered mine in winter and it works fine. Granted I didn't use it right away, it was back to room temp when I did use it.

what's the best way to use this? I use water on my edge with my wood slicker then apply this and it just rubs off when I slick it.

I wet the edges and sand them with 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then apply a thin coat of Tokonole with my finger. Let it sit for 5 minutes then burnish with a wooden hand slicker. You only want enough Tokonole to leave a film in the edge. Think of car wax, then come back and buff it into the edges with slicker,

Does it work on sofas?

Probably depends on the leather, and I haven't tried it on a sofa, but I'd assume if you're just trying to polish it would work.
