Good quality and cooks evenly.
These skillets are the best. They cook very well without burning or sticking. Love them.

Fantastic pans for professional and home cooks
My only criticism is that they are very light, which makes them feel like bargain brand, big box store cookware but they are NOT. They are designed to be efficient quality cookware. These are worth the money you are considering spending! NO nonstick pan is designed to be lifetime or heirloom cookware. These are great pans but you have to treat them right. Medium high heat on any type of stovetop. Hand wash. Don't use metal utensils and don't put them in the dishwasher. Functions wonderful in the oven. If you take care of these, you can expect 4-5 solid years of use. For people who are serious about cooking, I always recommend learning to use cast iron, carbon steel cookware and of course All-Clad Stainless Steel. I have high end All-Clad stainless steel cookware that I am passing on to my adult son, who will pass to his children. Quality cookware is a family legacy.

This one doesn't warp
I've tried lots of nonstick fry pans - even some other All-Clad ones. This is the only one that I've found where the bottom doesn't warp when used often with high heat. Of course, if you leave it unattended for 20 minutes with high heat turned on (like my wife did) then the nonstick surface decayed. But with regular reasonable use, this is the best fry pan I've used.

DO NOT BUY! The pan quality is disappointing but the All Clad Customer Service is the real problem
Unlike many, this is a review after owning the pan for a little over two years - I hope it will be helpful. For context, I’ve owned high-end Calphalon pans for over 30 years but decided to buy this small pan for my wife for her birthday in 2025, as All Clad is supposed to be an upgrade and her old 8 inch fry pan needed replacing. We are very careful with our pans and have been for decades - using only plastic/rubber or wooden utensils, handwashing them, etc. A couple of months ago I noticed bubbling on the lip of the pan and then the nonstick coating started to flake off. I wasn’t too worried as the pan has a “lifetime warranty” as my Calphalon pans have. Regarding those pans, I’ve had to send them back to Calphalon a few times over the years and they’ve always replaced them. So, I contacted All Clad customer service and they asked me to take pictures of the issue and submit them. To their credit, they were extremely quick about the process, which I appreciated. However, they denied the “lifetime warranty” claim saying “there are scratches in the nonstick due to damage from tapping your utensil on the rim.” IF I’d been using metal utensils, don’t you think the inside of the pan, which would have interacted MUCH more frequently with any “utensil” than the rim, have shown signs of damage, too - at least scratches? But you can see from the photos that the inside of the pan is in great condition - it almost looks new, to be honest. This is clearly a case of All Clad not wanting to honor their “lifetime warranty” - which is why I’m writing this review for your benefit. I was very happy with the pan before it started peeling but nonstick pans do this - even the high end ones - and if you’re going to pay $155 for one 8 inch pan, you expect that if and when that happens (and you hope it won’t happen for at least 5 to 7 years) that the manufacturer will honor their own warranty. In this case, will not. I will NOT be buying All Clad ever again - I’m back to Calphalon or maybe I’ll try Le Creuset but never All Clad. You may get lucky with your All Clad purchase but if you ever have issues with it, you won’t get lucky when you have to interact with All Clad’s customer service - it’s a joke.

Love my All Clad pots and pans. This one is one of my favorites for every day use.
I have a whole collection of All Clad pots and pans and recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, long lasting, high performance cookware. I got my first set in the late 90's and they are still great. I got this one to replace a pan that house guests ruined by cooking on vyer high heat, severely burning something greasy and damaging the non stick coating by scraping with a metal utensil in an attempt to rectify. It was a case of gross misuse by someone who didn't know better. Just glad they didn't burn down the kitchen in the process! They felt bad enough so, rather than say anything, I found a replacement on Amazon and said goodbye to the old one. Just remember that you rarely have to cook on high with these pots and pans since they are excellent at conducting heat! I cannot think of a time I have used the frying pans on any setting higher than medium high.

All-Clad products scream quality. In case you don’t know the difference between D3, D5 and copper core… the D3 heats up fast with only 3 layers, which is excellent for quick searing. It does t not mean it has less quality. It’s cheaper because it has less layers, therefore cheaper to produce. The D5 has 5 layers, still excellent quality and good for those who are more novice cooks. The copper core is quick and easier to control temperature of the pots/pans. Truly, top of the line. All that said, I LOVE the 8” pan. Excellent for omelettes, quick searing small cuts of meat, sautéing and more. Albeit it pricey, these pans out perform other brands I’ve tried.

Amazing Nonstick Pan—lightweight with even heating
After getting this pan for my wife for Christmas, I now want to switch all of my pans to similar All Clad cookware. This pan is super lightweight yet it distributes heat from our gas range very evenly and the nonstick coating is amazing. I am used to using a small amount of avocado or olive oil for sautéing and pan frying, but you honestly don’t need it with this pan—I tried an egg and had no sticking at all. Cleaning is also easy due to how nothing sticks or gets burnt on the pan. Definitely worthwhile!

My first all clad cookware, look very solid, did a few cook (stir fried and pan fried) and feels good.

THIS PAN IS A GREAT SIZE FOR MAKING SMALL OMELETTES OR FRYING EGGS. THE NON STICK SEEMS TO BE MADE FROM A LONGER LASTING NON STICK. ALTHOUGH AN EXPENSIVE OUTLAY IF YOU FIND YOURSELF PURCHASING A PAN EVERY 2 YEARS AS THE NON STICK ELEMENT IS SCRATCHED THIS IS A GOOD INVESTMENT

I bought this frying pan to replace the previous one that I had been using for several years. I use this frying pan almost every day. It is excellent and I highly recommend.

Wife wants non-stick pan I used to use non-stick pans but was turned off by the conspiracy theories about the toxicity of teflon and teflon flaking off of my mother's frying pan and stuck to stainless steel (all-clad all the way). Scrubbing burnt cheese, eggs, milk, tomato sauce is never fun, but if one has patience with soaking or agility with getting it under hot water while pan is still hot cleaning is not that big of an issue. My wife begs to differ and since children shorten our patience with minor inconveniences, after a long argument, I made this a Xmass gift! So far it works perfectly. Wifey thinks it's a little heavy, even though she's a strong woman so I'd caution anyone away from excellent cookware if it's too heavy for you, but if you're an oaf like me it's sturdy and well made.
