Works great for old playstation 2 console. If you want to be able to safe your games this is the best option!It feels and plays smoothly.I worried it wouldn't be compatible but it works amazing!

I only had 1 original 8 MB memory card for my PS2. Recently, I got a memory error when I was saving a game so I decided that I should probably buy another memory card. I only have 6 PS2 games so 128 MB is way more memory than I'll ever need but it was basically the same price tag as 64 MB and only a few dollars more than another 8 MB card so why not? Item came packaged well. Plugged it into my PS2 console memory port 2 and turned on the PS2. The console recognized the card and just like that I had 128 MB memory. Played Madden NFL 2007 and air-mailed 5 TD passes against the 49ers defense with my Rams using QB Matthew Stafford (player I created in-game using player stats from Madden NFL 25 I found online), and after the game when the cheers died down and the 49ers players walked sadly off the field I saved my franchise to the new 128 MB memory card and it worked like a champ.

This worked perfectly fine for me and was a huge upgrade over the tiny official PS2 memory cards most of us grew up with. The extra capacity meant I could keep far more save files on a single card without constantly having to delete old progress or swap cards around every time I wanted to play something different. Third-party memory cards can sometimes be a bit of a gamble with older consoles, but I didn't run into any reliability or compatibility issues with this one and it behaved exactly as expected. For anyone still playing on original PlayStation 2 hardware, having a larger memory card is one of those quality of life upgrades that makes owning the console much more convenient.
