I had a good time with this build. The neck and body are really decent. I didn't choose to use the pickups, or hardware, but that was just something I decided to do. I didn't think the bridge or stop tail felt cheap and I might use those later. I don't waste time on cheap tuners or pickups, so I just went for upgrades on those, but you could do that later. All in all, very happy with this kit.

…but missing the strap buttons. Otherwise, I could have given this 5-stars. Perfectly sanded out of the box, it was easy to build with the illustrative instructions. Electronics are cheap but plays well enough for a budget instrument. It’s plug & play with no soldering required. Great kit to learn the basics of guitar construction. Also, an attractive display when properly finished.

Got this for my 10 year old for Christmas. He wants to learn to play, and he loves building things and loves metal music. So this kit was an absolute win-win!! It was paint/stain ready and took us maybe 30 minutes to assemble it. I do highly suggest buying better strings and cord, but the ones it comes with are ok. It was great project for my kid and he loves how B.A. he feels when he is playing on this guitar he built.

Likes: Amazon was very helpful. Guitar quality and finished build plays great. All components fit correctly. Overall great project. Dislikes: 1st order the guitar body was damaged. Attmepted to contact support, never answered. Amazon replaced the kit. 2nd Replacement kit was missing instruction manual and coupon. A small blemish found on face of guitar. Contacted support, no answer. Found instructions online and downloaded them. Was able to complete the build and happy with final results. Just don't expect customer support on this one. Three stars all for the guitar -2 stars for twice no support.

Great kit. Includes everything you need but I would recomend some upgrades. The body and neck are high quality. The finish is tricky if you go with stain , paint would be a lot easier. Instructions are a pdf but you really don't need them if you have ever taken a guitar apart. All in all it was a fun experience.

The neck did not just fit it to the body and a bunch of carving was in order and that made the build even more fun. I swapped out the pickups and the pots and it plays and sounds really really good thank you for a great guitar build.

Awesome! I love the body and neck I got. The solderless setup is very convenient and easy, although I did upgrade some of the parts. Would 100% recommend if you are trying to get into guitar building and setup.

Decent diy guitar… learn and build a solid beginner guitar! I had to replace some hardware, but well worth it!

Great kit. Everything works fine although the pickups are not the best, they still sound good with proper adjustments - would recommend!

Kit arrived with everything in perfect condition. Waiting for better weather to paint the guitar body outdoors. Looking forward to the project. After a thorough inspection I'm impressed with what I've seen. Will have to wait a bit for the sound check.
