What is the drained weight?

I don't have any of this at present, but if someone from Amazon would like to take a look at the tin then that information should be printed on there!

These are cod livers in cod liver oil with 1.6% salt added- nothing else. As far as I can remember, the tin does not boast about the nutritional value of this product- it does not have to as this is one of the most nutritious of all foods with many health benefits. Just do a web search to discover just how good cod livers in cod liver oil is for you!

What is the drained weight?

I have bought this item many times. It’s good quality and the price is reasonable. Regarding the drained weight, it’s not possible to tell exactly as sometimes there is more liver in a tin and sometimes less as there is more oil. But still you benefit from the oil too so I wouldn’t worry so much about this. I guess it’s difficult to pack the exact amount of liver into each can.

This product is already cooked and ready to eat. If you wish to eat it warmed up, then just tip contents out of can into a pan and warm gently with occasional stir. A minute or so should warm it enough- over-cooking will spoil it.
