I’m actually impressed!
Let me say something… I looked all over the internet & could barely find anything about this product being genuinely reviewed, other than someone talking about it & it’s features. Customer reviews were good, but they were so mixed so I was hesitant, however I can assure you that I made the right choice, & you should too. I came home from work & opened this up, it was so light. So flexible, & was so soft. Surprising… I immediately plugged It into the USB port, changed the Volume Setting to the (Game) setting, & it instantly worked. The sound is so crisp, like so crisp. I play Final Fantasy XIV for example, I have over 10,000 hours into the game. I have heard sounds that I’ve never heard before with this, like absolutely insane. Played Dark Souls 1 again, which I have 4,000 hours into, & it sounded unreal. Who would’ve thought this would actually be something that works so well. The volume can really pick up, & it’s weird cause it doesn’t feel like it’s as loud to you, just feels like you’re right there in the game. However, everyone in my house begs to differ. This has some kick to it. Absolutely 0 bass but has some vibrations from sounds, which is nice. This is terrible for music, really meant for playing games. Not sure why. In terms of comfort, it is great. Not having a headset on feels amazing. No more strain on the head with a minor headache after raiding or wearing it for extended hours, no more Headset Hair so I can go out without looking like an idiot, & just easy to take off/put back on. For the cord length as I’ve seen complaints, I don’t mind it. I don’t feel the cord on me when the device is on. It sure is long, absolutely, but it’s not bothersome depending on your setup. As much as I like wireless, I hate waiting to charge it up or buying new batteries etc etc, so this is great. The microphone, oh the microphone. I hadn’t seen anything on this either in detail. It’s good! Nothing amazing though. My raid team says it sounds like I’m almost on speaker, but it’s very clear. I had my game as max volume, & was attacking monsters with loud effects in my ear, & he didn’t hear anything as I talked. Maybe a few things here & there after long periods of time but was unnoticeable. Crazy! Feels fantastic. I mean this when I say it, a little change can really go a long way! This changed the way I will experience games & even games I’m investing thousands of hours into now, & I’m the future. It’s amazing! I thought it almost looked stupid but I’m genuinely impressed! Highly consider buying. Edit: It is currently July 13th, 2022 & this thing is still holding up great. I’ve dropped this more times than I could count, & still is in great condition. Some things I would like to update though. The microphone is a lot better than what I had described it on. It’s much better than being on speaker phone, just has that little bit of “raspiness” to it. You can play a game at full volume & talk to friends & they will not hear the game at all. It still is comfortable, there was 1 awkward phase of my neck adjusting to it, but that was maybe the first 3 days. Music still stands true. Anything with bass or 808’s is going to sound horrendous, gods honest truth. Any hiphop song you put on goes from 30% volume to 90% volume throughout because the headset can’t do bass, kicks, 808’s all that. Hard rock, game music, jazz, all that works really well, it’s just hip hop that sounds god awful on these lmfao. Sound quality has not dropped at all. Still crisp, smooth, impeccable. I see this is on sale now, nice! Would 100% recommend picking it up on sale especially, I’d recommend it even without the sale (obviously). For real though, this shit is crazy…. Definitely worth the buy. Enjoy it :)

This is a PC Speaker, only good for PC!
Only good for PC, only PC support 5.1 audio. This speaker needs the USB cable no matter how you use so treat this as a wired headset, at least it's very light and comfortable as it don't have battery. USB 3.0 is a must for good volume, USB 2.0 performance is bad, 3.5 audio cable is troublesome to use avoid it. If your neck is thin or thick affect the audio sphere, try out the speaker sound adjustment to set the sound position forwards or backwards, it really works. The surround effect is obvious, feel best in "RPG" and "Cinema" mode, just lack of heavy bass so bass lover should avoid this speaker. The mic works but just not great, only good thing is it did had separate audio channel for game and chat audio as shown in the photo. I think this is too expensive at USD~190, the surround effect is fun but that's it nothing more that that. Something like a open back headset will be a better choice and value

Not a replacement for Gaming Headphones, but for very specific situations I enjoy them.
Summary: I purchased these headphones because most weeknights my girlfriend and I watch TV together and I wanted something that would allow me to play some PC games on my laptop while still being able to have conversations with her. Mostly RPG games that don't require 100% of my focus. I was not planning on playing FPS games, if you plan to play FPS games these will actually decrease your performance. I do enjoy these because they are light weight, and give me the ability to multi-task. They are great for RPG games or if you are listening to music at low volumes. This is not a replacement for quality gaming headphones if you are a hardcore FPS gamer especially. If you already own a pair of great gaming headphone's like me, then it's not a bad purchase if you wanted something that would fit niche situations. Positives: 1. It's very comfortable and lightweight. Great Build Quality. 2. It can be used in a situation where you want to hear a game you are playing, but still hear your surrounding environment. Either for safety or conversational reasons. Negatives: 1. Price is too high for the quality of sound you get from these. 2. The sound quality is good, it's not great. I expected a small scale surround sound experience. I also expected more bass. It has barely any bass, so you are not going to get that surround sound feeling or any sensations of the sounds on your shoulders.

Best wearable speakers for gamers
The speakers are very easy to use, just plug and play. The unit seems appropriately robust for long term use. Buttons located on the lateral sides of the unit are discrete and easy to use. The feet located on each quadrant of the bottom side of the unit is a nice addition for stability when placed on a flat surface. The majority of PC gamers prefer USB connectivity, so the choice of connectivity is appropriate. The 3.5 mm auxiliary port is a nice addition, which could be useful for players who would like to connect mobile devices to the speaker. The speaker is sufficiently light in weight such that it could be worn for long periods of time. The unit is comfortable to wear with no complaints. The positioning of the speakers are able to provide surround sound with no issues. The direction of events in games correspond to the direction of sound appropriately. Overall a great unit, perhaps the best in terms of wearable speakers for gamers.

Excellent headset with innovative design
Pros: - Comfortable to wear, very lightweight - Wired connection allows you to use speakers and mic simultaneously without degradation - No sound leakage into voice chat while gaming - Nearby people cannot hear as much of your device's sounds Cons: - Sound quality could be better, especially bass - The speaker itself will make announcements when you use the buttons, which can be loud - Buttons all feel the same, which makes it awkward to differentiate functionality by touch - No option to go wireless I was skeptical because of the price tag, but a friend recommended this to me, and after using it for a few days, I think this speaker system is a great idea. I have large ears, so I cannot wear a headset for long. Meanwhile, earbuds can be annoying to deal with, and the mic quality on those can be poor. I can wear the SoundSlayer for hours on end with no problem. It does require a sacrifice in audio quality, but in terms of functionality for gaming, I have no complaints.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I play a lot of games and watch a lot of things on my TV, but the sound on my TV isn't great without cranking up the volume and the walls of my apartment are quite thin so I didn't want to make too much noise. After wearing my over ear headphones a lot they started bothering my ears so I went looking for some shoulder ones. I didn't want Bluetooth though, just wired, since I'd be using these sitting at my desk or on my couch and I couldn't connect to my TV with Bluetooth. This pair was literally the only one I found that was wired and that felt a little suspicious, but I ordered anyways. Turns out it's perfect, it comes with an audio jack for older stuff, but I was able to plug the USB directly into my computer and my PlayStation 5 and it immediately worked. I don't know how it would be for listening to music, but for gaming it was vastly superior to the built in TV speakers I was using before, allowed me to have almost surround sound and didn't bother my ears like my headphones did! The price tag is a little intimidating when compared to the cheap Bluetooth ones you can find everywhere, but if you're looking for a specific wired/gaming setup it's totally worth it!

It’s like surround sound on your shoulders
I bought these because my speakers weren’t great quality and my buddy recommended them. I’ve also seen some gamers use these so I decided to give it a shot. I was surprised at the fact that these provide great quality sound but also provided noise and echo cancelling which I was not aware of. The speakers also have a built in microphone which is super convenient. I sometimes would use a headset but after a while it would bother my head and ears it would also leave a weird imprint in my hair which I was not a fan of! So these definitely were an upgrade in that department. I use these for PC gaming but they have several different ways you can connect them to your device including my PS4. I believe they can also connect to Xbox one and Nintendo switch if that’s how you game. The connecting cable was a great length too which allowed me to move freely, I didn’t feel restricted at all. I recommend these if you’re trying to move away from headphones and are looking for an alternative with great crisp sound and perks like noise cancelling.

Works with NVIDIA Shield; Will Only Output Stereo Sound on Linux; No Bass Below 120Hz
The speakers are not bad if anyone does not care about bass. The minimum frequency is around 120Hz which is audible, but it's not loud. Plus, I like that the speakers direct the sound directly to my head, which is very nice, but no. I won't be keeping this at all. I did ask a question on Amazon regarding whether this works with NVIDIA Shield and it does work and I did hear a bit of lows but only above 90Hz or so. When connecting to a computer via USB 3.0 as reviewers noted, I noticed in my Linux desktop running GNOME that there is only support for stereo output regardless of whether the Wearable speaker has 4 speakers or not. DON'T be swayed by marketing hype. I saw a 1-star review after I purchased it and now I regretted it so bad. I have been looking for true 5.1 headphone and now a surround sound wearable speaker and this is not it. I have been looking for one that's portable so I can travel with my family and I will be away from home for a couple of months and that I do not have to deal with wires for surround sound. I hate to send it back after I sent back the JVC Exofield, but it looks like I have to, If it wasn't for testing with NVIDIA Shield, I would have gave this wearable speaker a 1-star rating, but since it does, I gave it two stars.

crappy sound quality
After playing around all the settings described on the user manual, I conclude that the sound quality is extremely crappy and cheap. It is not better than a $50 speaker (probably even worse). Do not get influenced by its promoted collaboration with Final Fantasy 14 sound team. This speaker sounds so bad under any prebuilt modes in the FF14 game as well.
