Very good product and exceptional support
I purchased this clock based solely on how satisfied I am with the Q3 weather station I have. The Q6 clock is accurate, has no problems syncing with WWV. The projection is excellent the way I'm using it to project across the room. It's very easy to read at night and not too bright to keep you awake. I had some problems with the remote sensor not being picked up. I tried a few things but couldn't get it to work. I alerted support and was pleasantly surprised to get an immediate response to try a few things. When that didn't work they immediately sent a new unit without question or cost. Both Newentor products have been great. The only thing that would improve them is for them not to use blue as a color for the display. Blue is very difficult to read from a distance. Other than that these devices work well regardless of temperature.

Accurate, easy to set up weather-clock with cool projection of time and temp.
This dual alarm clock - weather station is a handy-dandy, reliable device which arrived on time and was easy to set up. It's multi-colored displays are easy on the eyes and distinguishes inside from outside temperatures and humidities (thanks to a battery-powered sensor you can place outside). The clock is spot on with perfect synchronization with the Bureau of Standards atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado. It is accurate to the second. This is my second Newentor device. What distinguishes this from the first one I purchased is its projection of time and temperature (in red) on my ceiling. Quite a conversation piece. Indoor and outdoor temperatures alternate . It projects well on my 9-foot ceiling; not blindingly bright, but readable. The Service department at Newentor is friendly and very accommodating. I did not need them for this projector alarm clock but did require some of their assistance with my first purchase about a month ago. Assistance was prompt and effective. I highly recommend this Newentor projector alarm clock - weather station.

Works well, good projection display, outside sensor not waterproof
We bought this as a projector clock for our bedroom. It projects the time and both inside and outside temperatures, which is really useful. The display on the clock itself has multiple brightness levels. We had to set it to minimum, as higher levels lit up the bedroom like a flashlight. At low level the screen is still visible by day, but only just. The clock displays inside and outside humidity on the screen, which is very useful. I would have given this 5 stars, but I dropped one as the outside sensor is not waterproof. It stopped working after a rainy night, although it did start again after I dried it out. I have had to relocate it to a very sheltered spot outside, where it now works well. The clock updates itself from the atomic clock in Boulder CO every now and again. You can tell when it does this as the projector switches off for a few minutes. Overall we are very pleased with this device.

It’s mostly great
I’m giving this 5 stars because it does the job. The one thing that I don’t understand is that when I wake up if the clock is let’s say 6 on the dot, the ceiling readout goes away. I don’t think it should do that but the other features such as weather are all working properly and it’s a decent clock for the money.

Cool idea, mediocre execution
I'm a sucker for a weather station that gives me the temperature at the base and reads at least one out door sensor, so I was excited about this one that does all that and has an atomic clock and projects a display to a nearby wall, ceiling or other flat surface.PROs* Pairs well with the outside sensor, doesn't lose connection* Bright, easy to read display on the base unit* Reasonably intuitive setup buttons* When the projected display works, it's coolCONs* Never really worked with the atomic clock. It failed after a long attempt and eventually I had to set it manually. I left the atomic clock on wondering if it would work at some point, but found out when the time changed for "fall back", it clearly wasn't working I had to set the time manually. By that point it was already off by about a minute so I sensed the atomic clock wasn't working. Though I must say losing only 1 minute in 10 months isn't bad* After only 9 months of use, the projected display is now so dim that it's just not readable, even in a room with low light. I tried cleaning the lens and power cycling the unit, but it didn't help.OVERALLIt's about as good as any other weather station that doesn't have the sexy add-ons I bought it for so I won't replace it.... at least until I find another shiny new object with an attractive feature set beyond the standard.
