Sweet story with an important lesson
Noelle is excited to bake a surprise cake for her momโs birthday. Noelle and her dad make a list, get all the items they need from the grocery store, and start baking. But then, a mistake is made and Noelle is upset. Her dad helps Noelle look at things in a more positive way and comes up with a solution that make Noelle happy. This is a great book on having a positive attitude. It is simple, easy to read with beautiful illustrations. Great work!

Fun and engaging!
My daughter and I truly enjoyed this lovely story. It is well-written, fun, and engaging. It reminds the reader that things don't always go as planned and that we can bounce back from any setback. Resilience helps us to learn and grow in all situations. I highly recommend this book and all the other books from this collection.

This was a great story full of lovely positive vibes! I could totally see using this in a classroom, parts of the story would be great for sequencing activities and for encouraging good health habits and healthy snacks! Beautiful book!

The story book I've been looking for!
I've been looking for books for my daughter that were realistic, simple stories with good/proper grammar and this is it! The story flows really well and the illustrations are beautiful. My daughter is mixed race too so this also checks the representation block for her too. Love love love!

Amazing book!
My daughter and I loved this book so much. I enjoyed that it showed Noelle working through her emotions and thinking a situation out fully. My daughter and I baked a cake after we red this book and funny enough I dropped some (not the whole bowl) and my daughter worked through it similarly to the book which I would thank the book for. Great example for the young readers. My daughter also loved trying to ready the words herself, they were the right size and color for her to be able to see easy enough.
