Great popcorn popper!
This popcorn popper has been worth the money. It's very simple to operate and pops most of the kernals, with very few unpopped. I also like that it is fast, popping a batch in 3 minutes or less. There is a convienent measuring scoop/butter melter on the top of the unit. In addition, it is easy to clean. If you are looking for an air-popper, I recommend this one. I've had it for several months and it's very consistent.

EXTREMELY happy
I am extremely happy with this popper. It's attractive, lightweight, and simple. The top and the measuring cup fit nicely. I appreciate the lack of a switch--one less thing to break. I mean, I'm going to have to plug it in every time I use it anyway. I made my first batch and it was perfect--perfect! There were very, very few unpopped kernels. And the popcorn was surprisingly plump (noticeably better that my oil-based popper with the same batch of kernels). Tasted fine. I used my biggest Pyrex bowl and it filled it. The machine was not nearly as loud as I thought it would be based on other reviews. I let it cool and simply rinsed everything off. One thing to note: after it pops and you unplug it, wait! Wait at lease 30 seconds or so for the few hot kernels in the machine to finish popping. It's surprising when they pop with the cover off.

Darn good popper but don't put the measuring cup in a microwave
I was using a cast iron frying pan with a little oil in it but this is way better. Also better than microwave popcorn. Makes super fluffy popcorn, no burnt kernels, more kernels fully pop, and of those few that don't pop, some stay in the machine so they're a little easier to separate. Seems to be just as fast as popping them on a stove top or in a microwave. I find that it can help to tilt the popper back a little so that unpopped kernels are less likely to get blown out, especially so with some smaller kernels such as white popcorn. Once the chamber fills with popped kernels, they tend to hold the unpopped ones in the chamber. The measuring dish is sort of effective in melting butter but some remains unmelted. I put the yellow dish in the microwave to finish the job but the hot butter melted the plastic. Bad idea.

Great value for the money
I've had this popper for nearly 10 years at this point, purchased in 2017. It still works great after all this time. It has popped 8lbs of popcorn nearly every month for the last 5 years and still runs like new. I originally bought it as a backup for my vintage popper, which still works. This one is smaller, faster, and more consistent so it became the go to popper. I like the thermal switch that shuts it off if it gets too hot. It automatically resets once it cools down which is quite handy. For the money this is probably the best small appliance I've ever purchased.

Great popper!
Due to the sheer volume of popcorn we eat as a family, I feel as though I'm qualified to rate this, and most other poppers. Stove top oil poppers can't be beat, except for the fatty oils, and the amount of time required to babysit the many batches required for a large family. Shake'n'pop type poppers used over a fire are still my favorite for tender popped corn, but a sealed gas fireplace took care of that possibility. I have owned many air poppers, and I would rate this Presto popper as good as any. The first batch always comes out tender, which I try and set aside before the kids gets their grubby little hands on it. Follow up batches can be less tender, unless I take off the top plastic section and let it cool down for a couple of minutes before running the next batch (which I always do). Thank goodness for multiple poppers. The plastic measuring cup on top shouldn't be used for melting butter. Well, it's fine if you do, but if you plan on popping multiple batches the kernels will get stuck in the butter goo when measuring for the next batch. Just get a food grade plastic squirt bottle, fill it with butter and stick it in the fridge. Each time you make popcorn just stick the sprayer in the microwave for a minute to melt the butter, spray the popcorn with delicious butter, and stick it back in the fridge for the next batch. Simple and clean! Also, important note..., please always use real butter! Butter is the only way to go, and I think it should be a crime to use margarine or other fake substitutes on popcorn! I noticed some complaints about unpopped kernels being blown out with this popper. My thoughts on this are... wahhhh, no big deal. It's popcorn, I have bigger things to worry about than unpopped kernels of corn being ejected into the big blue popcorn bowls. My trick with unpopped kernels is this... don't eat them! However, I have started to notice a trend that this might be happening more when the popper is already hot. I considered watching the behavior more closely and reporting back, but then realized that it would expose our unnatural love of popcorn, and I don't want to be judged for the ginormous amounts of popcorn we eat. Also, with regards to kernels popping in the bowl after the batch is almost completed... this happens only occasionally. A kernel will pop and blow a few pieces of popcorn out of the bowl, which startles the young ones every single time. No complaints here, the kids think it's great and it always makes them laugh! Anyway, this thing really does pop popcorn (both white and yellow corn). And the price is right too. So stop wasting time not popping popcorn and order it already! *** UPDATE *** Quick update to state that this popper is still going strong after one full year! In fact, I found that I can add 1-1/2 times the recommended amount of corn to the popper, and it pops the additional amount without issue. Yup, we're now popping the same amount of popcorn in a fraction of the time. Long live popcorn... and (hopefully) this popper!

Healthy & delicious hot air popcorn!
This hot air popcorn maker is a game changer! You can make healthy, great tasting popcorn with no oil or butter. It’s compact, nice looking, easy to use & clean, and quickly pops a large bowl from the measuring scoop that’s included. There’s no need to make microwave popcorn or traditional high caloric, high fat popcorn ever again if you have one of these nifty popcorn makers.

Great Air Popper
Perfect popcorn maker. It pops nearly every kernel (with fresh kernels). I like the fact it comes with a measuring cup. Be aware that some kernels with be ejected when it’s starts up, but once it starts popping all is good. I would recommend if you’re looking for an air popper.

Well designed hot air popper
I have used another hot air popper, the Presto Orville Redenbacher Fountain popper, for years with good success. But it takes up a large space on my kitchen counter, so I decided to try one of Presto's smaller hot air poppers. This "Presto 04867 Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Popper" is actually called "Poplite PLUS" and is the manufacturer's premium model in the PopLite series. Note that Amazon shows a couple other versions of the PopLite series under the same listing, as if they were simply different color options, but in fact this light blue one, 04867, is distinct from the others in more ways than just the color. I called Presto about the differences, and apparently there are some nuances of the materials used, and also this is the only model to have a power switch (the other models require you to plug in the power cord to turn the popper on, and unplug to turn it off....THIS model can be left plugged in all the time). This popper is designed to have a large bowl placed next to it, in order to receive the popped kernels; the bowl is NOT included with this popper. The popper is in three pieces; the base, the clear plastic cover, and the butter melting cup. The melting cup holds exactly 1/2 cup of un-popped kernels, so it can be used as a measuring cup since the popper is designed to be used with exactly 1/2 cup of kernels put into the popping chamber. After being used in this way, the melting cup can be used to melt a couple large pads of butter during popping. However, if you put refrigerated butter into the cup, there will probably not be enough heat in the two minutes of popping time to actually melt it all; they recommend using butter that has already softened to room temperature. The popper does not care whether or not you use the cup to melt butter during the popping period. Sequence: Measure 1/2 cup of kernels, using the melting cup OR some other measuring cup, into the popper base's popping chamber. Place the clear cover over the base, then place the melting cup into its recess on top of the cover. Place a large bowl next to the base, under the cover;s chute. Push the power button on the side of the base. Wait about 2 minutes until popping seems to stop. Press the power button again to turn the popper off. All of the popped kernels should be in the bowl. Remove the melting cup from the cover, and if there is melted butter in it, drizzle that into the bowl. Tip the combined base and cover over the trash to remove any remaining un-popped kernels. There should not be any cleanup of the base or cover, but if you melted butter in the cup, THAT will need to be washed. Note that neither the cover or the melting cup are dishwasher safe; these can only be cleaned by hand, using warm water and dish soap. There should not be any need to clean the popping base, other than to empty out any un-popped kernels after each popping batch. Presto has a wide range of well designed and well built products, and I have several of their products, including their rotating pizza cooker. They also have a high quality customer service, easy to reach with people based in the USA answering customer questions. I very much like this new popper. I have made two batched of popcorn so far with this new popper, and was was the simplest, easiest, and fastest one I have ever used.

I RECOMMEND IT
Awesome popcorn popper. Works as described. Popcorn some times gets stuff once they really get popping which requires you to unclog the popcorn to prevent burning.

Funktioniert nicht in Deutschland ohne Konverter !!!!
Aufpassen !!!!!
