Bought I for the looks, kept for the quality and used daily!
NGL bought this solely for aesthetic reasons because I wanted a more visually pleasing espresso maker to go with my Talavera mugs. I’m not an espresso expert but I am a coffee enthusiast and drink daily. I’m enough of a coffee snob to know that any “pod” espresso maker is never a match for freshly ground and brewed but unfortunately I can’t afford these $600-1000 barista espresso machines so I decided to look for something that would meet both my needs halfway at least. I was more than pleasantly surprised by this purchase. The machine is cute and the espresso quality is legit. I’ve had it for a few months now and I have stopped spending money at coffee houses entirely! I much prefer making my own to my taste, at home! I make perfect iced lattes in the comfort of my own home now. I got some quality flavored syrups and and sauces, super extra crema Lavazza beans, plus some glass coffee tumblers and the experience gives me all of the dopamine! I was worried to order because y’know it’s Amazon so it’s hit or miss. Luckily, so far it’s been a hit. It’s not as noisy as some say. I mean it’s a a machine so it makes noise when it pulls the espresso and steams milk but I don’t plan on operating it in the middle of the night or around sleeping babies so the noise isn’t an issue for me. Hopefully it doesn’t stop working after a few months the like everything else you buy on Amazon. But if lasts me at least 2 years, it was worth it! The only real con is the milk steamer. It’s not the best by any means but I have a separate milk frother so it’s fine. I also prefer shots over ice so I don’t need to use it as much. When it does work, it works ok. Mainly it waters down the milk so much which I’m not a fan of and it squirts everywhere which can be dangerous!

Great purchase
I bought this a few years ago, it’s been used every day and still makes great shots of espresso. By far better quality than other economically priced espresso machines I’ve tried. Shots pull rich and flavorful with a foamy layer on top, the milk steamer is very easy to use. Easy to clean and I’m overall impressed with its quality and how well it’s held up. Also looks very cute! Highly recommend.

5 years old and still running!! Great Value!
We purchased the Navy Blue model back in 2021. We use this machine every day, every morning and sometimes through the day as well. We love the coffee it makes! The steamer is strong and can quickly steam milk. We use it so much we have had to replace the espresso handle a few times from me banging it too hard on the trash can. I still give this product a 5 star review, one star for every year this machine has served our family without issue. One piece of advice - pay attention to the water tank and don’t run the machine without water in it. It doesn’t seem to like that very much. Fantastic buy - there is a lot of junk out there but this product is a very solid buy. I paid $299 for mine - I can’t believe it’s only $199 now! No pods - no wondering what is in your pod - spend the extra $100 you save on a descent burr grinder and go get a bag of your favorite coffee! You’re set!

Will stop after couple
After a couple months it stopped pumping the appropriate amount of water. It would start and then almost immediately stop. Tried factory reset, tried setting the water. Nothing. Best part- I sent 4 emails to their support inbox. No response. They don’t care

Instructions are confusing, but device works fine
This is a review of the Laekerrt 20 Bar Espresso Maker. Overall it is a good machine for the casual coffee drinker such as myself. It lacks some of the niceties of higher-end machines, but I don't miss those too often. Good things: Price is very good. Construction quality of the device is great. It doesn't feel "plasticky" and cheap. Heats up quickly for both espresso and steam function. In under a minute I can make two shots of espresso, and in under two minutes can froth enough milk to make lattes or cappucinos. It's a timed function which may or may not be desirable for others, but works great for me. Press the button (either one or two cups) and it starts up and stops automatically. The steam frother also works quickly though was a bit confusing to get right at first. This is mostly my own fault but the instructions weren't exactly clear. Not so great things: It can do two cups at a time, but there's a small delay as the machine recharges steam. This is about 30s to a minute. So once you pull the shots, it takes a minute before it's ready to froth the milk. No water level warning. The reservoir is pretty small and in the back of the unit so not always obvious if you're running low on water. Instructions are printed on the machine itself, but not actually correct. For example, on the steam function the knob has to be turned to the circle until the steam is recharged. If it's on the steam function, it will just shoot out squirts of hot water until the pressure is enough to force steam out. The instructions don't mention this. There are also instructions on the front of the unit that is pretty well obscured by the filter unit. These instructions talk about "First Use" or if the machine hasn't been used in a long time, but not sure what the difference is between these use cases and normal use. Removing the filter canisters is cumbersome. This may apply if you need to switch different grinds that require different filters. For the most part, I'm using only the 2oz canister. In summary, I am satisfied with the machine. Good price and works for my needs, but it does lack higher-end and convenience features that I've seen before.

Just stop pushing all the buttons and wait
It took a bit of time to learn how to use it (this is my first espresso machine) but it was pretty easy! The thing that I had to learn, and it's not in the instructions, is stop pressing the buttons over and over......... lololol...... ok, hear me out! When you turn it on all the lights are going to flash for what feels like freaking FOREVER. Just stop and wait!!!!! It's not broken, it's just not instantly ready. Lol... it actually heats up or something. So I suggest that you should turn it on and then start packing the coffee. Once it stops blinking, THEN press the 1 or 2 cups options. Also the milk frother...... idk.... there is a knob on the side of the machine that either sprays steam to froth the milk, or it sprays boiling water. All I know, is when I try to froth, it scorched the milk on the metal, and I can't get it off..... I think the boiling water spray is to clean out the frother, but..... yeah..... and yes I watched way too many YouTube videos and i ended up learning things I never wanted to learn 😆 🤣 😂 but not learning a thing that could help me understand my new gadget. Lastly do yourself a favor and get yourself a knock box. The edge of the trash can doesn't really work and whacking it on the countertop or sink will wake the dead.... if the developer/ manufacturer is reading this please make a tool kit that would match the pink of my machine! I need a small pink silicone mat, to work on to catch the grounds and drips during my brewing. My pink strawberry mat that is mouse pad material is getting stained. I also need a pink knock box, and a strainer that keeps the grounds down in the cup, not up in my water dispenser thingy. I also need a pink frother pot, and, a pink cup with spout that the brew goes into. Pouring the fresh brew from a tiny cup (because normal mugs do not fit underneath) and if you do have a mug that fits, transferring that liquid to your Stanley to make an iced caramel pumpkin macchiato makes a whole another mess. Since we don't have such a curated tool set, I'm left searching for items one by one. Overall I'm in love with my very pink coffee bar, and my pink espresso machine. It's not as instant as a keureg, but dang I havn't stopped at a coffee shop in almost 2 months which means it's already paid for herself!

Mostly Okay
I bought this after having the CMEP01 for about 2.5 years. I didn’t have any brand loyalty Or anything, but the old one made good coffee, and the price was right on this one. All in all, it’s a pretty good machine. The shots pull well, and have good crema. The overall design looks nice and it’s pretty small, especially considering it’s a 20 bar, so it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. it’s also pretty easy to use having just four buttons for operation. My criticisms of it are mostly things that the older model had, but for some reason, this one doesn’t. First, I don’t know for certain, but I think the water tank is smaller because it seems like I am filling it up more often. Next, it seems to take a VERY long time to steam milk. It really feels like it struggles to get that last 15 to 20 degrees, Which ultimately result in it pumping more steam (A.k.a. water) into the milk. Next, the CMEP01 had a silicone pad on the tray that would prevent cups or shot glasses from moving around when the machine is running. For some reason, this one did not come with a pad, so my shot glasses bounce and rattle around all over, and sometimes I have to hold them still so the coffee actually goes in the glass. And lastly, the one that really irks me, the portafilter doesn’t have a guard on it to prevent the filter from falling out when knocking out grounds. The CMEP01’s portafilter had a little catch that you would flip up and hold on to the filter while you were knocking it. This one, similar to the CMEP01, has a small divot in the filter that fits into the portafilter cup, which you can then twist into a track and, in theory, prevent it from falling out. But if you don’t notice what position the filter is in, you risk losing your filter into your grounds box or trashcan. And even if the divot is turned into the track, it still has the potential to come out, which I’ve done multiple times. But, like the title says, it’s mostly okay. Had I known about these issues when I was shopping for a machine, I probably would’ve gotten another CMEP01. But overall, it works well enough for what I need it to do.
