Is there a mattress pad for the rocking bassinet? I went to put sheets on it once assembled, and there’s only the hard bottom layer.

The Rock-A-Bye bassinet has a mattress pad that is sewn into it and does not accept sheets.

Do I need to get a mattress for the bottom part ? Or even the bassinet?

The Lil' Snooze Deluxe III already comes with a mattress pad and the Rock-A-Bye bassinet has the mattress pad sewn in; only the original mattress that the item comes with is recommended for use with it.
