These went great for my Doc Brown back to the future cosplay

Pros: White shades with silver lens ~ I'm impressed by the reflective quality of the lens as I expected them to be more translucent than they are. By extension, they do a phenomenal job keeping the eyes shaded across the visual spectrum, and without sides you get a nice range of viewing without having to turn your head. Cons: No part of the frame seems to be metal and is entirely plastic; they're lightweight and feel incredibly fragile, like I might snap them if I open the arms too quickly. The curvature of the lens also creates slits of distortion to where it feels like I'm stating through a heat wave shimmer and with it so close to my eyes it creates strain that brings on some tension aches - I had LASIK less than 3 months ago as of the time of this review and I'll consider that a possible attribute for the severity of my affect, but I'd wager the distortion is an engineering matter. Maintenance, nothing a quick swipe won't take care of, but the absolute range of lens with no barriers against flesh save for distance they are from your face means you'll be getting smudges on these more than regular lenses. I want to like this product more than I do, but I find it too clunky for practical wear and will probably stick to using these as an outfit piece.
