Why is this only for girls?

Why not? Why are we confusing children? Boys and girls are different and they have been since the beginning of time. We were designed to be different and I personally am grateful. We each have unique qualities to offer to this world and we should be encouraging children to embrace that. We don't want a world where everyone is the same...I think there are plenty of movies out there that show us that is not the way to go. I love that from the very beginning I watched my boys gravitate toward particular toys while my daughter gravitated toward different one's. We didn't train them to do that, they just did it. A dear friend of mine has encouraged her 5 year old daughter to be a boy and it hurts my heart to think that that little girl is being encouraged to be something that she is not. We are being sold on a message that we can choose our gender...what a sham and/or a shame. I for one am not going to buy into what the world is "selling"... my children are too precious to me.

A customer said that the phone lights up, but mine only lights at the bottem, the keys and the top do not. The top is only a mirror. Is that right?

The top is just a mirror. I think the only lights are on the buttons but I gave mine as a gift

What is the age range for this?

24 months and up. I personally bought it for my 2 year old niece, she loved it. Her 4 year old sister liked to play with it as well.
