I was looking for a shock mount and foam windscreen for my AT2020 [XLR] so I could use it while gaming for voice. I'm glad I stumbled across this combo. Not only is it made for the AT2020, but buying them together saved me some money. Everything was easy to install. The foam windscreen simply slid on. I didn't need the included adapter for my stand (Pro Line MS112BK), but it doesn't hurt to have adapters laying around. The mic fit in the shock mount with no issues. The inside has a soft lining, not sure of the material honestly, which stops it from scratching the mic and helps it slide in easier. It holds the mic firm. No matter what position you put this in, the mic wont come out. On initial install the tilt felt a little loose. Since positioning it and tightening it down it hasn't slipped once in the short time I've owned it. I don't sit right up on my mic so I can't comment too much on the plosives, usually it is off to my front-left about 6-10". However this does tame some of the background noise I was getting. This is what I was looking for when I went with the foam windscreen. It does a good job helping reject noise from the back end of the mic while not effecting the sound quality from the front. In regards to the shock mount, we will see how long the bands last. Reading most reviews, at least for sub $30 shock mounts, I expect them to last 2-3 years. It helps quiet desk noise a ton. I use a desktop mic stand and I can now move it around without discord picking it up. It also quieted down the noise through the desk from typing and moving my mouse. Overall this was a great combo to go with my AT2020 [XLR]. If the bands do wear out in 2-3 years, I can see myself purchasing another one if it is still available.

The fact that this package comes with both a windscreen AND a shockmount all for one low price is simply amazing. Furthermore, anyone buying this needs to keep in mind that the windscreen is designed for the Audio Technica at2020, whereas the shockmount could be used for any mic with a similar body structure. Windscreen works great and sits perfectly, and the shockmount is well padded. EXCEPTIONS: I gave this product five stars because, for the price, it is an amazing product. However, one could argue that the shockmount being made of plastic is more fragile than metal counterparts. The clasp that you squeeze to put the mic in feels a little fragile as well, but not too bad. One small negative might be the turn key that tightens the shockmounts tilt. Its not the strongest for holding up a heavy mic, so I found myself having to tighten it a lot for the shockmount to stay in the position I wanted it at. Besides that one small conundrum, I highly recommend this package for beginners and people on a tight budget.

Short and sweet. This works great. You can swallow your microphone and still be understood clearly; if sounding a bit odd. As intended, probably. Crisp and clear, and INCREDIBLY easy to use. A total dunce like me, who has no audiophile tendencies at all, was able to get it going without too much trouble, just by looking at the thing. Which is probably good... because I forget if instructions were even included. I don't think there were... But, moreover, there's one complaint I have about this item, genuinely. The microphone it's engineered for has integral controls that WILL be covered if you use this shock mount and filter. There are no two ways around this, unless you are able to precisely, and with a machinist-level of care cut holes into the metal mount, which I do NOT recommend in any way. This detracts from the product, especially since it'd be nice to have a hardware mute accessible, and the markings for the two dials I have left accessible by pulling the mount back as far as I'm comfortable.

I was never a big fan of the popfilter screens, so this seemed like an ideal fit for my AT2020. Couldn't be happier. The voice still picks up super smooth and it eliminates the popping completely. I have my mic positioned between two monitors, and having the pop filter screen would obstruct a part of one or both of my monitors, depending on how I positioned it. Now with this, it doesn't obstruct any monitors and I feel like it works better. It slipped on really easy and fits in snug. Some people complained about the filter being too hard to put on the mic or that is was deformed after shipping. Neither one of those problems were the case for me. Only thing I would recommend doing is looking for any tears in the foam. I had a small one on mine, but it barely broke the surface and I positioned it on the opposite side of where my mic is and it has not been a problem at all. I would recommend this buy to any AT2020 owner.

I had originally used a pop filter, but I realized with my set up, the pop filter couldn't stay in place. It was time for a replacement. The filter does it's job well if not better than the pop filter. No loud pops and it doesn't pick up as much outdoor sound because the mic likes to record everything within a 50 mile radius. Plus the cover keeps any dust from getting in the mic. The filter fits very snug on the mic. Easy to install and remove if you need and it covers the internal blue light if you didn't like that (if you like the blue light, I dunno what to tell you, sorry). The product did come with indents from being folded to fit in the packaging, but it doesn't impede the quality.

Before I bought this windscreen, I was using a regular pop filter that clamped onto my microphone arm and it was very annoying to keep adjusting it to stay in front of my AT2035. So, I looked online and found this product and I think it was well worth the purchase. When it is initially removed from the package, a weird smell omits from the foam and it tends to linger for a few days so if you have your mic close to your face then this may annoy you. Eventually, the smell fades away and you're left with a windscreen that is definitely worth the money. The sound quality is great, it looks great, and it is not cheap feeling either. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a cheap yet quality product to help improve the audio of their microphone.

Makes a bigger difference than I expected. My voice is plosive central. After getting this, I rarely have issues, even if I set my mic in front of my mouth. I can pop the mic if I try, but I have to try. Normally I throw this on, set the mic 45 degrees off axis (about 6 inches away), and I never have issues. I originally used it on an M-audio producer usb microphone. I recently got a Lewitt LCT 440 pure and it fits perfectly. In fact, the Lewitt has its own magnetic pop filter that sits almost right up against the microphone. With a little stretching I can gently work this over the 440 and its pop filter. I am pleased with this purchase and would buy another if I ever have the need.

I went to disemble it! but after reassembling it I realise it's not that hard and it made me appreciate my accessories more! :) great quality

Me gustó que es prefecto para el AT2020 como lo anuncian. No me gustó que llegó en una caja muy pequeña, doblado y un tanto maltratado. Hasta la fecha los pliegues que se hicieron por empacarlo aún son visibles, pero supongo que con más tiempo dejarán de serlo.

I had a pop filter before this and it would always get in the way and not perform very well. This is the exact opposite because its super discrete and does an amazing job of reducing popping sounds!

This works well, but the complex spider of elastic hookings etc. is made much more durable by taking a pair of pliers and crimping each tab after you have hooked on the elastic. Otherwise, any jostling will pop the elastic off the tabs. It's not a big deal, and even faintly comical. For a while. Then comes the pliers.
