Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon: Official Strategy Guide

This is a complete walk through of the game for both editions, Sun and Moon. It tells you all the basics of who you will be battling, what Pokemon you will face & what they are weak against. It tells you where to find hidden items, Zygard pieces. It has complete maps, tells you which Pokemon are specific to each version of the game, how the game will vary based on the starter you chose. My son and I are playing this together. He is 12 and a Pokemon expert. I’m an adult and have only played Pokemon Omega Ruby prior to this game. We both refer to this book. I ended up buying two copies so that we can each have one. I’m obviously looking up basic things like what is strong against dark, but my son is looking up things on a regular basis too. For instance it provides Zygard core and cell locations which if you missed a few is quite helpful. This is a well illustrated, laid out and written guide. If you log any time in this game you will find it valuable. I’m so happy I preordered it.

I am that person that gets guide books for any video game that I am serious about. Some people watch youtube videos, I literally play with the book in my lap so I don't miss anything. I purchased 2 Pokémon books. This one I consider to be an adult/older child version. Out of the 8 people in my house, 6 of us play this game. 3 of them are 7 and 8 year old boys. I don't think that they have the attention span or the care to use this book. It is definitely, more of a guide, less of a Pokedex. The two adults and 14 year old, this book would help them. So if you looking for a guide to reveal where all of the hidden stuff is and a walk-through of the game, this is your book. They also made a Pokedex that it 95% Pokedex and it also amazing. The new Pokemon game has completely entranced my granddaughter and she found this guide a great resource to make sure she didn't miss anything in the game. We started her playing Pokemon when she was 5 and that was 20 years ago. Thank you Satoshi Tajiri for creating a nonviolent strategy game that has empowered and impassioned millions of kids who have managed to keep this childhood wonder of Pokemon well into adulthood.

This is a must have book for anyone who has the two games. I bought it for my daughter along with Pokemon Sun and Moon game and she said it is a great handbook to have. The book arrived way sooner than expected which was a pleasant surprise for her!

This is a great guide especially if playing these games for the first time. These games have come a long way since Red and Blue, and while much of the gameplay is the same/similar, certain new mechanics may make things a little more challenging, but this guide does an excellent job explaining it all.
