Safe, sturdy, and secure
Install wasn't easy, we had to watch the video a few times to get it right. Once on, though, it is very secure as long as your truck has a locking tailgate. It looks great, doesn't stick up above the truck bed like some do. Easy to fold up out of the way, just stop at the third panel if you don't want to block your rear window. It has straps just for that purpose.

Best price I could find !!
This is the 3rd G2 I've owned. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the G2 now has the new style lip at the tailgate end, which does not require you to open the tailgate before closing. One of the G2's i had for 9 years (swapped from a 2010 Ram to 2013 Ram) and only had one issue, but Bak sent me a repair kit free of charge... that took all of 10 minutes to fix. About an hour to install and now I have a giant trunk on my 24 F150 RCSB.

Not like it use to be quality is questionable for the price paid.
Missing plastic bracket that holds the metal support rod in place on the driver side and I’ll dangles will see if Bac rac to contact me I was on hold today for two hours with no answer had to glue clip in place will see
