Works well in the 2004 Cayenne Turbo
I definitely feel the difference in acceleration after replacing the old oil in the transfer box with this. I bought the Cayenne used with 134,000 miles and have no history when it was last replaced. I drain it into a jar to measure the amount. It took about 0.8 L. Someone recommended replacing this oil every 20,000 miles. It could improve by providing a better instruction as how to use the bottle. It is actually very cleaver. It has a build-in tube that fits into the refill hole of the transfer case. Just follow the 1 and 2 written on top of the cap. 1 is to bring the two small handles up. 2 is to turn counter-clock wise for about five turns than pull straight up. The tube will come straight out. To fill the transfer case, stick the tube inside the refill hole at least one inch or more before squeezing the bottle to push the oil in the transfer case.Do not twist the big cap off or you will end up leaking oil on the floor as one of the users learn it the hard way. This is not a normal bottle cap that you twist off the cap and pour. Just make sure the tube and cap are snug.

Fixed transfer case issue for Porsche 958.1 V8 Turbo
Thought I was going to have to replace the transfer case in my Porsche Cayenne Turbo because of stuttering issues in low gears (a $2500 part)-- after finding a lot of talk about the precise issue I was having, it ended up I only need a bottle of this oil (.8qt). Probably the easiest oil change I have ever performed (~15min) and the Cayenne is back to accelerating smoothly. I have read that some times it takes a number of flushes to finally get things totally clean, so might not be a bad idea to purchase 2-3 bottles. I have since ordered 2 more... definitely start here if you're out of warranty and experiencing choppiness with your Cayenne/Q7/Touareg/et. al. and hopefully save yourself thousands.

Amazing stuff.
Was experiencing the dreaded transfer case slippage at about 50k miles on my Porsche Cayenne. After some research the Ravenol fluid seemed to be what many people had success with. Changing the transfer case fluid on the Cayenne is already very easy, but the fill tube feature in the bottle is outstanding where I didn't need to use a pump or any type of funnel. I immediately felt a difference after the fluid chage. Slippage was gone and shifts are now very smooth. No more hesitation when on the throttle. Out of warranty transfer case replacemet is roughly $4000 at the dealership. Will be changing TC fluid every 10-20k miles from now on as preventative maintenance when I do the regular oil changes. The Porsche feels like a Porsche again.

Half the cost, All the performance
My girlfriend's 2012 X5 xDrive35i was shuddering badly when cornering (or turning with modest severity, in general), and research pointed to the transfer case being the culprit... either best-case, a fluid swap could resolve the issue, or worst-ca$e, the transfer case would need replacing. OEM BMW fluid runs ~$65/qt. This is around half that, and from what I could tell by looking at the MSDS, this is essentially equivalent to the more expensive OEM fluid. I performed the fluid change (very easy job), and she reported back that the shuddering disappeared, and the car seemed to drive more aggressively/more decisively, in general (consistent with the AWD functioning properly). Great job, Ravenol, and great product!

2018 Nissan Armada T-case fluid
Bottle is ingenious. Built in straw, no pump or hose needed for my T-case fluid change.Product specs are exactly what I needed for my 2018 Nissan Armada. Nissan is very specific about the transfer case fluid. It was either this or Nissan brand and almost 3x the price. This was engineered for many electronically controlled transfer cases on very high end vehicles. Going on a few thousand miles now. No issues.

Great fluid and price
I have a 2004 bmw X3 3.0 and a 2011 BMW x3 2.8i and looking at the OEM bottles from the Stealership- THEY ARE THE SAME just under a different BMW INTERNAL P/N between the two model years. The Ravenol TF-0870 GL4 is Exactly the replacement for BMW OEM FLUIDS with over 1/2 the cost. The Stealership was quoting me $80.00 per quart and This have the same consistency as the OEM fluid and foul smell. So far I have bought 3 quarts with one for future fluid changes.

IMPORTANT..... Packaging and Nomenclature has Changed ????????
10/4/2019 I received 1 liter and installed .85liters of Ravenol ATC Synthetic Transfer Fluid TF-0870 and drained and refilled my transfer case in a 2012 Porsche Cayenne S. It helped a lot with the turning while backing up binding in the drive train and the 2nd gear deceleration "coast" or uneven deceleration problem. It didn't eliminate it, but it shifts and downshifts much better than it had been.2/13/20 I received a reorder of exactly the same thing per the previous order and it originally appeared that they had sent the wrong item. What I received is now labeled Ravenol ATC Fullsynth Transfer Fluid DTF-1. There is an Article Number label on the back of the bottle "Art. 1211128-001" which is identical to the bottle received in October 2019. Problem is the photo of the item depicted on the ad on the website TODAY still calls for the TF-0870. You know this is becoming a giant pain in the ass. Seems like 1/2 the time something I order from Amazon is not what it was, or is even not what it is supposed to be, and it's up to me to determine if its wrong or right. Come on Bezos stop fighting with Trump and get your head in the game. This BS isnt cutting it and I'm looking for new suppliers of what I need and use all the time because of stuff like this. VERY Frustrating !

Awesome.
Awesome stuff. Fixed the shudder and pop in 08 X3. 150k and thought the transfer case was going, so gave this a shot. A drain, transfer pump, and one litre of this "liquid gold" later, X3 rides like new. Amazing results from simple fluid change. I've heard of this working for the same symptoms with other X3s so I recommend giving it a try if you have shudder or popping when turning. This combined with the actuator gear change and very satisfied.
