Authentic Knitting Board 28" Knitting Board Loom, Adjustable, 168 pegs, 100% Hardwood

Wow, this is a serious knitting board. The board is such high quality, the pegs are sturdy and really in the board tightly to prevent breakage. The extenders are neat as this can make a large square board for tons of variations. You can knit, double knit, weave, and make all sorts of projects. This board is very well made and I can do tons of projects, including a blanket I'm making now. This board is pricier than some, however, the multitude of variations of the board and projects that can be made, plus the quality of the loom itself, makes this one worth it. I plan to buy the 18 inch next for smaller projects. There are loom books and online tutorials showing how to cast on and do different stitches. I am learning traditional knitting and tend to carry on, but this is fast and easy to learn and the board is excellent.

Absolutely just what I needed. Perfect size for the baby blanket I'm making.

I like this item very much, but the pegs are not spaced far enough apart. I marked every other one with finger nail polish so I could use thicker yarn. And that works great. Very sturdy much better than those all plastic looms. I like the fact that you can choose the size of the project you want to do. Make wonderful lap blankets.

I have been loom knitting now for about six years and have a wide range of looms. This is one of the largest out there short of an afghan loom and it is very convertible and sturdy. My first project actually was a small sized afghan which used all the pegs to achieve the width I wanted (about the width of a twin mattress with nothing hanging down on either side). Unlike some of the other long looms out there, this one did not create "bends" in the project when I took it off. Currently it is being used to double knit a second blanket which is constructed in panels and it is working out very well for double knitting as well. Highly recommend.

Was excited to get this item. Seemed like a sturdy product but box was open at the bottom and was missing the extra bolt so was unable to be used. Just check you have all the parts. Glad I did after I saw other reviews of the same where parts were missing.

This loom is working excellent

I recently bought a plastic extendable loom to make a blanket and it was horrible so I returned it and bought this one to try. If you are looking for a strong and stable loom, this is the one! And it’s very easy to use while sitting in a chair. This is my new favourite loom to use for blankets!

The item ws delivered on time and in good condition. The only problem is there was no operating instructions in the box . Please send me the operating instructions so I can make a start. Threading up and finishing off are very impotant instructions. Again thankyou for prompt delivery.
