really good i really this good quality aswell, even when i have dropped it by accident it didn't scratch up really good and it has some amazing focus speed and image quality is crazy good not gonna lie really good value of money and its really easy to put on

Super quality, lightweight and great value

For the price, I love this lens. It's clear and sharp and is great for interiors and facades without too much wide angle distortion. Well worth the price, and it's small enough to pop it in your jacket pocket just in case.

This is a great, relatively wide angle, lens for my R8.

This seems a bit too good to be true - a very portable and capable 16mm lens for under £300. And it sort of is for most uses - just a bit larger than the small pancake lenses, it made my R8 feel almost like a compact camera. Silent, reasonably fast focus, light. The quality is great as long as you either rely on JPEGs, or your RAW process applies the lens software correction. You see the lens in reality is a 14mm lens with quite a bit of distortion and vignetting that's corrected via software. That's the "trick" for making an inexpensive lens perform well. This works fine if I use a recent version of Adobe software, but alternative processing I do for e.g. astrophotography etc which uses dcraw or the DNG converter, does not apply these corrections giving me much less ideal images. You can see in the sample photos the same RAW with and without the software corrections (don't mind the colour differences, just not the vignetting/geometry). Overall this will be great for 9 out of 10 people.

I really like this lens, light and compact on my R7 it is easy to carry around. Picture quality is fair, certainly good enough for the price, you would need to spend considerably more for better quality images.

Bought this Rf16mm 2.8 lens to fit onto my purchase of Canon R6 Mark II and I am highly impressed by the performance of this little light weight lens, particularly the ability to capture stunning wide-angle shots. This feature will greatly benefit in capturing sceneries and city scapes. Moreover, I am pleasantly surprised by the impressive quality of macro shots it can achieve and lovely faint bokeh✨and sunstar✨ I got my second lens rf 85mm f2 to compare the difference and can conclude that16mm is not going to disappoint. The distortion it is known for doesn't bother my creativity at all, infact love that quirky persptective. Very happy customer☺️

Lo compré en el Prime Day algo más barato, de ahí las 5 estrellas. Has de saber lo que estás comprando, y es que no es ninguna maravilla en términos de calidad de imagen, pero por el precio está bastante bien, ya que para la montura RF es de las mejores opciones, y no solo por eso, sino también por su tamaño y peso. Se agradece tener algo más ligerito. La calidad de construcción no es mala del todo. La parte que se conecta a la bayoneta es de metal, y en general no se siente terriblemente barato/plasticoso. Mucho viñeteo que puede ser corregido sin mayores problemas. El autoenfoque no es muy rápido (cualquier USM evidentemente va a ser más rápido) y suena un poco.

Ich nutze das Canon RF 16mm jetzt eine Weile und es ist für mich vor allem ein geniales Reise-Objektiv: super kompakt, leicht und dadurch immer dabei – genau dafür liebe ich es. Bildqualität: In der Bildmitte ist es richtig schön scharf, gerade für den Preis. Zu den Rändern hin muss man aber ehrlich sein: Da sieht man deutlich Verzeichnung und auch eine Vignettierung, die sich je nach Motiv bemerkbar macht. Beim Abblenden ist die Vignettierung weiterhin sichtbar – wird zwar etwas besser, verschwindet aber nicht komplett. Praxis & Look: Durch den starken Weitwinkel bekommt man bei nahen Motiven schnell einen leicht „Fisheye“-artigen Look (starke Perspektive/Dehnung) – kann super kreativ sein, aber man sollte es wissen, damit Gesichter/Objekte am Rand nicht “komisch” wirken. Auch an APS-C: Funktioniert ebenfalls gut an einer APS-C Canon RF Kamera, man muss nur den Crop-Faktor im Kopf behalten (es wirkt dann deutlich weniger extrem weitwinklig). Unterm Strich: viel Spaß und Nutzen fürs Geld. Wer ein günstiges, ultra-kompaktes Weitwinkel für Reisen, Vlogging, Street oder Landschaft sucht und mit Verzeichnung/Vignettierung leben kann (bzw. korrigiert), bekommt hier ein sehr starkes Preis-Leistungs-Paket.

R7 için aldım. Bu lens aslında tam kare fotoğraf makineleri için ama crop sensörlü makinelerde de kullanılıyor. Astro fotoğrafçılık için aldım ama maalesef hava şartlarından dolayı kullanamadım.
