All my life i used different types of hair ties and my hair ends up getting dents and waves once i removed them. I tried using hair claws and bobby bins but my hair is hard to manage (asian hair thick and coarse and slippery) even with the silicone or non slip features on them! I was pretty excited to see these and was very skeptical whether they would leave dents or waves in my hair however gave them a go! After using these for more than a month i must say these are pretty cool. After removing the hair tie my hair is completely straight! no dents, no waves, and best of all the ties hold strong. The one downside i noticed is the hair ties started to unravel or some fibers would come loose but didn't impact the function of the tie itself. The fabric feels like nylon material which was shocking to me. I told my bf i'm using nylon to tie up my hair :P I recommend this to my sister because she also didn't appreciate how regular or standard hair ties would leave her hair.
