KL2CRN-30 Range Hood, 30 in, Stainless Steel

Looks great! Excellent price, easy for installer to assemble, arrived quickly.That being said, please understand, we are rewiring our house and currently it has yet to be hooked up to electrical or ducting so we cannot assess the effectiveness or function yet.Background: we shopped in person and learned there were paid backorders still waiting delivery 10 months later due to pandemic issues. We were informed there would be no guarantee of delivery or refund for cancelled order.As an alternative, we ordered this and it arrived in less than a week. In total, the cost including hiring a installer cost less than a similair retail appliance store item without installation.The steel moulding at the ceiling is very attractive.

We love the hood, looks great with our range. Just a word of advice for if you get the one with the crown molding. I got the hood one day and the following day the molding came on it’s own. I thought the seller messed up since the part number on the hood box was the cheaper one without the crown. But then another box came the next day with just the crown. I left negative feedback a little too soon. I just deleted it and wanted to write a review so nobody else makes the same mistake.

The range hood is one of the focal points of your kitchen. Not a good idea to buy a cheap. I especially like that the hood is vented outside. Very good exhaust action and a great compliment to the kitchen.

The unit seems to have a good motor, better than average warranty, all pieces were there, and it seemed to be packed very well, but once the installation began, it was all downhill.Instructions skip over certain details. For instance, you cannot secure the range hood without tightening the mouting screws all the way (once the range hood is up), but the directions do not address that you need to leave enough space to slide the chimney behind the back of the hood after mounting. The directions should address and/or the unit should be equipped with spacers on the back to fully secure to the wall while leaving enough room to slide the chimney behind.The lower portion of the chimney was slightly bowed outward on one side, which did not resolve itself once on the wall.The wiring harness is located too near where the upper chimney slides down. Without protection, the wires could easily be frayed or the plastic connectors damaged.There is over a 1/4" gap between the crown molding and the top chimney piece. I expected the two would meet up for a more finished look.Worse yet, while trying to determine why the back/front right corners were not level, while the back/front left and front left to right were level, we realized there was a large bend in the back of the unit. This was only noticeable after hanging on the wall and removing the dampers.With the flexion of the stainless used to make this hood's canopy and chimney pieces, I cannot imagine getting everything level.I really wanted this hood to work, but after looking at it on the wall for a day, there is no way we can leave it up.

Definitely looks beautiful! We love the crown molding with it! But surprised at the noise level and even hear a little rattling. But the suction seems strong enough on level 2 of 4 which isn’t too loud. So overall happy with it!

1. perfectly packed. 2. all parts stated were in the boxes. 3. everything fitted as described in manual. 4. install about 1 hour. 5. works perfectly.6. HOWEVER the sales blurb says 52 db. NOT TRUE operates at low speed at 59 db, 2nd speed 67 db , 3 rd speed 74, top speed 81db.7. others have commented that the lights at the back are useless, but in my kitchen they are perfect as they light where the overhead lights miss.

I rarely write reviews but... this thing looks great, and so far it works and it's quiet on the low setting but it's just so flimsy, not quite tin foil but close. It's so light that they give you two little screws and drywall anchors to mount it, like it's a picture (If you do that it will sag away from the wall, and stand back if anyone puts any weight on it). You can bend stuff just removing the plastic wrap. I drilled additional mounting holes in it and added some wood in the wall to mount it to. Now I just need brighter LEDs. The irony is that the 'user manual' and packaging are amazing. I know that's odd to say but they really stand out which is frustrating, because I just wanted a good hood.

Finally got hood range installed. Looks great, good value for the money compared to similar on the market
