This is a great product. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble by myself. Would recommend a buddy tho as the pull up bar attachment can be kinda of tricky. Ignore bad reviews from idiots that say bars are warped. They probably completely tightened some areas when you're a only supposed to hand tighten til assembly is complete. I left the push-up handles off obviously because they interefere with putting weights on there. Slapped 2 45lbs and the 80lbs Omni heavy strike bag on for a total counter weight of 170lbs and I weigh 235 can jump on pull-up bar without any adverse effects. Overall great pull-up bar and heavybag stand.

Like others have said it does what it's supposed to
So I bought this as part of Amazon's Cyber Monday sale, at $89.99, which was a pretty good value. In my opinion this is definately a good or even above average stand. It has some neat features such as the ability to adjust the height of the bag to 3 pre set levels (or possibly 2, I'll describe this more later...), the pullup bar and pushup handles and also the rubber/plastic caps on the feet so it has a little traction and doesn't scuff up walls quite as much. The construction is metal tubing so it's not too heavy, which is a plus while setting up, but thats's about where my compliments end. From here on I'm mostly going to be pretty negative, so please bare with me for a few moments. My biggest issue with this product is in the construction/set up of it. To be blunt, putting it together was a pain in the (fill in with your favorite synonym for butt), your experience may vary, but the pieces I got were not aligned properly so holes did not match up, some were not big enough and some of the threading on screws was covered with little bubbles which made them unuseable. Everlast however was responsive and was able to send replacement parts for most of the issues I was having free of charge, so there's that at least. Puttin this together took about 2.5 hours, a set of wratcheting socket wrenches, a hammer and a good bit of my patience. If you are reading this before you put it together, please do yourself a favor and do not even attempt to use the tool they include (except the allen wrench, which is unavoidable...) you will double the amount of time you are spending. I had to use a hammer to align the rounded support legs tot he main verticle post and feet because as it was orignially sent, the holes on the feet and supports were about 4 inches off, so I sat there pounding the supports to get them aligned properly. Also, while I mentioned the pullup bar and pushup handles as a positive earlier, I didn't bother to install them, the pull up bar will not work in my basement (ceiling is too low) and I've never been a fan of pushup bars. Also as someone has pointed out the locaiton of the weigt peg on the rear leg (behind the main post) is positioned poorly, but I suppose somoene thought that was a space saving measure. Lastly as I mentioned before there are "3" pre set levels for your bag, a high setting which has the bag around eye level for me (I'm 6' 2") for punching, the middle is about waist/leg level for your low kicks and the 3rd is on the ground for ground and pound or situps. I don't know if I can really consider that last setting something separate, but I guess if you really like that and don't want to just unhook your bag it's a nice option. My last issue is the same issue I have with all heavy bag holders, in that it limits your ability to strike from different angles, and this is no different, even more so when the pushup bars are on, but you can't really circle around and work on your movement too much without stepping on something or hitting something you didn't intend to. So to sum this all up, as I said at the begining, for it's intended purpose of holding a heavy bag while you strike it, it does it's job, but it's bells and whistles don't really work for me (your enjoyment may vary...) and was has some defects in workmanship that make setup painful, but once that's done you don't have to do it again. It's not the best i've seen or used, but not the worst either.

The rear weight pin is so close to the main post only 25lb Olympic style plates will fit and even with these they still rub the main post. 25lb per corner plus the bag base bag is not enough to keep it stable. I'm going to add another 25lb at each corner for a total of 150lb base weight. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired, parts were loose, packing straps broke, parts were scratched from shifting around inside the box. The hand platforms for push ups are a joke, not stable at all, the pull up bar while nice, causes the frame to rock around. Overall if I had it to do again I would get the heavy bag speed bag combo.

UPDATE: Don't buy - Needs a redesign
UPDATE: After periodic use this past 10 months, one of the welds at the top of the stand, which holds the heavybag in place and guides the pulley system broke today when I was using the bag. Come to find out, Everlast only warranties their products for 120 days, so I am SOL. I would give 0 stars if I could. DON'T BUY! I received this as a Christmas present. The stand is tall. I have it in my garage, but it is so tall that I can't keep it under the garage door as the garage door will hit it when the door is lifted up. I have to store it beyond the garage door, inconvenient for me, but nothing worth taking any stars off for. Assembly was fairly straight forward until trying to figure out the connector at the top. The unit is shipped with the cable being mounted not in the right configuration. There are no proper instructions on how it is suppose to be mounted correctly, so it took me quite a while and a lot of research to figure out how it is actually suppose to be mounted to function correctly. Frustrating to say the least. I use a 100 lbs. Everlast Heavy Bag on this stand and I must say, that despite the height of the unit, the bag still does not sit high enough for me. It should be plenty high, but with the chains from the heavy bag it is way too low. I had to modify the chains to get the bag higher where it is functional, I'm only 6 feet tall. The other problem is support. I have Olympic weights and the weight holders on this stand are standard sized. This means every time I hit the bag, the weights holding the base slide around and can cause the momentum to shift the stand, possibly topple it. I also have to put a lot of weight on it to hold it in place with the 100 lbs. bag. 90 lbs. on each front leg and since the spacing for the weight holder in the back is not very wide, I can only use 25 lbs weights in the back for a total of 100 lbs back there. This is barely sufficient weight to hold it in place.

Exactly what my son wanted
I searched everywhere looking for a bag stand with a pullup bar for my son. Found what he wanted on Amazon. My teenage son assembled it almost by himself. It was rather difficult to align a couple of bolts, but he was able to complete the assembly in about 30 minutes. He uses it with a 100lb bag (Everlast Vintage bag - approx. 4' tall without straps), not a MMA bag. It has an adjustable height cable which he doesn't use since his bag is taller (The bottom cable hook is for punches and the middle hook lowers the bag for kicks/knees). The stand is rather tall once assembled. We have 8' ceilings and there is approximately 10.75" clearance from the pullup bar to the ceiling. My son is 6' tall and he is able to utilize the pullup bar without any problems. He isn't using any bands or weight to stablize the bag or stand at this time. The stand has brackets on the base to tether the bag, and weights can be added to the push up bars. The bag does need a tether, but the stand is sturdy and doesn't require weights for now. The packaging wasn't great. There were several parts clanking around in the box, but everything was there and nothing was damaged, therefore we give it 5 stars.

I loved the idea of the of this product
I loved the idea of the of this product. unfortunately it was very beat up when I received it. Parts were scratched but it was a large item and didn't seem worth the hassle to return it for some scratches. As i put it together I found that pieces were actually bent and the oles could not be aligned. It was almost built and by the time I had the time to put it together it turned out it was past the return period even if I wanted to take it apart and attempt to return the item, i couldn't. I ended up having to use a mallet to bend the damaged parts and it is not as stable as I should it should be. I have read many similar reviews and decided to order it anyway thinking they just got a bad one. I would recommend that you not buy this item.

A mess of parts
This was to be a Christmas present for my husband ordered with my Prime membership. It showed up 2 days late on Christmas Eve. (Once again rendering the benefit of Amazon Prime pointless.) At that point we'd already left to spend the holidays at my in-laws house and couldn't wait on the package any longer. Fortunately, we had a friend who could bring the package inside for us. I realize this is a shipping issue and not necessarily the fault of the product itself, however, I was still ticked about that and wanted to share. It has no bearing on my poor score of the product itself. As for the stand itself I am seriously disappointed. First off, packaging was terrible! Everything in the box was open and jingling about. Nuts, bolts, washers, etc were everywhere. Obviously, when several pieces were missing I was not surprised or pleased. Some parts were rusty and it was very dirty. It makes me wonder if this was a used product or a piecemeal of used and new...who knows. I did read the reviews before I bought and noticed someone else mention similar packaging issues. I should have taken heed. The stand has potential. Well, most of it anyway. We were not able to assemble the pull up bar because of missing 2 bolts a washer and a nut. We used one bolt meant for the pull up stand that was just barely long enough to complete the main structure. So it is kind of usable. Once we got what we could constructed and hung our 100lb heavy bag, it seemed to have potential. It's still a little large for my taste but being that it has to be a strong structure, I can't complain about it's size. If you are looking for a small home gym type of situation, however, this might not be the product to use. We previously had our bag hanging from a beam in the garage but wanted it inside so we could use it in better temp conditions. Therefore, we will live with the size. Husband has had only one workout so far so no real details to provide as far as durability and usability, except that it is rather noisy at the clip wehre the bag is attached. Any suggestions on how to fix that is appreciated but I suppose punching things is not a quiet sport. Can't use the pull up bars yet, but I will note as in the other reviews, that they are straight and not the ones pictured. I feel sad and disappointed that I have to give such a low rating to a product I was so excited about and should workout great. But like I said, the product cannot be used as advertised in its current state. I will update my rating depending on how easily/quickly we can get replacements and have a chance to get a few workouts in to see how the stand actually holds up. Until then, I don't like it.

exactly what i was looking for
It came in a little later than expected, but Amazon definitely made up for it! Great piece of equipment, that allows you to move the bag up or down to the floor so you can do knee strikes, or ground and pound. I have been looking also at adding a pull-up bar to the home gym without tearing up the doorway, and thi everlast omni strike has one attached to it! Also, set up was a breeze, it come with everything you need to put together

Stand works great! The trick to assembling it is to keep all of the bolts really loose until the thing is complete - then tighten. If you tighten right away, nothing will line up properly. In fact, it will be so far off that you'll think it must be defective, but it's actually not. The tools it comes with are useless, don't use them unless you want to spend 2 days putting it together. I used a quality socket set and a screwdriver, had it together myself in 2 hours. If I had help, would've been 1 hour. The pull-up bar is gimmicky, I left it off. The 2 front stabilizer bars as shown in the picture do nothing to stabilize that way. They gotta be twisted to the outside to help. I use the foam covers it came with to hold 50 lbs dumbells in place right against the stabilizer bars. With the weights and bars, the stand is extremely stable for both punching and kicking an omnistrike bag. 5 stars!
