Energy When You Need It.
I like to go on long bike rides. I've been using this GU gel packets for years and they definitely work. With all the different flavors they offer, I think Vanilla is one of the best. I use about one packet every hour when I'm out on a long ride and usually keep about 4 of them on me. If you are looking for something light to pack and keep you going when you're on a long run, ride, or just something light to keep you going, this is it.

Tastes good and works
This stuff tastes great and is high quality. It does not give me a burst of energy but, taken just before my hockey games, gives me a stable level of energy through the whole game. No longer am I running on empty late in the 3rd period. I feel as energized then as I do at the beginning of the game.

15 Years Later - I Still Remember These
It's been 15 years since I ran my marathon, and it was these GU gels that got me through the training and the race itself. I still remember the pleasant taste and euphoric feeling of energy and runner's high. They say smell and taste give the most potent memories - and in this case - it's true. I've been going through my past Amazon purchases, and it was these GU gels that stick out. I'm not surprised they are still for sale and going strong. Maybe I'll order a pack just for memory's sake...or to train for another marathon. Ha!

Give you the energy you need mid ride
Took these babies with my on a 30 mile ride with lots of climbs and was surprised this gave me a little boost mid way. The vanilla flavor takes a bit getting used to, but it's way better than eating something super sweet. the 24 count box is awesome and I just grab one before a mid/long ride.

Keep your effort going with minimal fuss
I learned a while ago that I can't manage to eat an energy bar or a banana while I'm riding. Some can, and that's great. These packets are easily opened and consumed, with the packaging going into the back pocket. The taste is not overpowering and I don't need to drink most of a water bottle to wash it down.

Fast clean energy
I have trouble eating without getting sick due to a severe allergy. I really don’t get sick from this, that’s the first plus. The next is that the energy gotten from these packs is clean and fast. Great while on the move. Not very filling, but they are meant for on the move, not food replacement for people afraid of getting sick… just wish they were cheaper because I’m drowning in medical debt

Provides an energy boost
Very flavourful and they work. Definitely gives you a boost of energy without the negative affects of an energy drink, or having to chug a coffee. They work great when playing a sport or coaching.

En utmärkt energigel! Det är rätt portion. Det smakar ganska bra. Den är tjock och det är en fördel gentemot de rinnande gelerna. Med de tunna flytande gelerna blir händerna ofta smutsiga och klibbiga när du öppnar förpackningen. Denna fara finns inte med de tjockare gelerna. Och du "späder ut" gelén själv genom att hålla den i munnen och sedan svälja den. Jag använder gelen när jag cyklar och för mig är den perfekt.
