Great assist
This worked well for my elderly father who needs a little help now and then. It was an easy install. The support bracket on an elongated toilet hand over bowl slightly other wise itโs perfect.

Very sturdy to use when youre non weight bearing after ankle surgery
Got the hand rails for when im recovering from ankle surgery. The bars fit my oblong toilet perfectly. Very sturdy coming on and off the toilet being non weight bearing. Reasonably priced and defin make you feel safe when transferring off crutches to the toilet.

Does its Job at a Reasonable Price
Need a support and not a good place to add support bar to wall. The directions were not the best but I was able to figure out using the pictures. It seems to be a solid design the the locking parts to hold all together. Looked easier to put together than the ones that sit on the floor. Install went fine it was just hard for me to get at the nuts under the seat. Once I got it all screwed together, it was very strong and easy to use. There were two widths it could be set at for different size people where so many accessibility aids are set to the 16" to 17" only. The holes in the back for the locking pins are wide and I figured out why. The bars lift up just enough to be able to clean under the front supports (I can imagine them getting dirty). You can also change the width after they have been installed with the push in locking pins. The front supports are under the toilet seat and are really stable. I was worried at the larger width they would not have enough front support but they actually did. They made standing so much easier and stable with an injured leg. I do highly recommend.

Made the bathroom trips less painful.
This was a life changer. I back and knee issues. I am planning on getting a taller toilet. I needed to be able to get up and down without more pain. This is amazing help until I can save and buy a new toilet. I must let you know I also purchased a toilet set raiser which is a great fit even with the shaft bars installed. If you have back, knee pain and don't want to add to it. I recommend this bars.

Perfect - if you have room for it
I chose this safety rail because I wanted a stable and sturdy design that didn't hang off of the toilet. This model is sturdy enough for my 250+ pound father to easily get up and down. The padded handles aren't as cold or hard as the standard designs. It's easy to assemble, and an absolute lifesaver for the mobility impaired. The only issue to keep in mind is that it is 27 inches wide. I like the extra width, since it's more stable and less cramped, but make sure you have room for it! Many tiny bathrooms just don't have the clearance on either side of the toilet. We have a couple of inches to spare. There isn't enough clearance for me to install the magazine holder in the pictures (no big loss there). Even though it's a tight fit, the handles curve inward from the widest point, so there's no problem getting your hands around the handles. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Update: Just over two years after buying this product, it collapsed. The welds in the base gave way. I think my father might have fallen on it or exerted a lot of force somehow to cause it to collapse. So I'm updating my review to be accurate, but I'm buying another one. I'll get one that has the same design, but is less expensive. I noticed that the price more than doubled since I bought this, and the other brands offer a price comparable to what I originally spent.

After hip surgery, these were a Godsend.
The handles are grippy, slightly cushioned, and stable enough to really help getting down and up. They're so comfortable that I hate to give them up even though I no longer need them.

Very useful!!!
Fairy easy installation, and works great. Bought one for my mom, and then another one for my grandparents. It really takes the strain off of standing and sitting from the toilet, I even enjoyed how much easier it was to sit and stand haha. I would highly recommend if you or someone you know is needing an aid for standing and sitting!

Handy Rails
When I placed the order I was afraid that they won't be sturdy enough, given that they only rely on the two screws of the toilet seat to install. My fear was proven wrong, as these rails are sturdy and since the front side rests on the toilet rim, there's not much side-to-side rocking motion. It's neat design also allows for easy cleaning. When cleaning the toilet's rim, you can simply lift up each side at a time to clean under the front leg of the rails. A smart and thoughtful feature. I highly recommend the product. Price is also very reasonable when compared to a local store specializing in medical assistive devices.

great invention for small spaces..
terrific.. my space around the toilet is small, so I could only use 1 arm. back bar sits under your toilet seat. side bar is in 3 pieces that slide together, and the back end has a pin on it that slides into the back bar. the front flat rubber piece of the arm sits under the bottom part of the toilet seat. no tools required. painted metal very easy to clean. top of handle has non slip rubber. unit is very sturdy and very light for weight. the best part is no legs on the arms that take up floor space !!!

i think its good my senior like it
received today and install it. box is a bit damaged already but its fine. i got the item/parts all put in a plastic bag and a manual. i like that its 1 day delivery. on installing the back parts almost not fit cause our toilet tank is big so i push it a bit with my hand. instructions unclear on the manual. the parts have a,b and 1,2 but its not mentioned. so i install it from front 1,2 and 2,1 and the back is a,a and b,b (these are connecting handles.) looks sturdy but not too much force. i didn't screw it tightly but not wiggly (for now thats the settings will adjust if needed) when sitting the handle bar will shake a small motion which is normal. simple design and i think my senior will benifits this handle. some people might complain about cleaning the toilet bowl cause the handle end goes there but for us its a not a problem. no complaint so far. its a good item so far. will update back if anything changes before a month.
